Highlighter Collection : Drugstore

Apologies it took quite some time from my high end highlighter post to this one! I was having too much fun with my Mary Lou and Opal highlighters. Here are my drugstore highlighters :
City Color Highlight Trio
OFRA You Dew You Highlighter
elf Baked Highlighter in Moonlight Pearls
elf Baked Highlighter in Blush Gems
NYX HD Blush in Soft Spoken
NYX Liquid Illuminator in Sunbeam

I am really impressed with City Color Highlight Trio. They are crazy pigmented and I love every single one. The glitter is very finely milled and it blends like a dream. One swipe and you get that shine.

This NYX liquid illuminator has tons of glitter so I'm not actually a fan but it does give you that glow you can see from outer space. I like this for night time only.

So NYX Soft Spoken is technically a blush but on me it can works as a highlighter as long as I'm being light handed. I want to like elf baked highlighter because I heard some good reviews but it's just chalky and so hard to get the color out.

I totally forgot to swatch OFRA You Dew You but you can see it on above photo that it's a pretty decent highlighter. The glitter is not to crazy and it has good pigmentation. It works really well on me too (altho it doesnt really show in photo) ! When blended, it looks very much like my skin color but with a shine.

My favorite would have to be City Color Highlight Trio. On above photo I use the two shades from the left and mix them together. Not to mention that for $8.99 you'll get three different highlighter that can works for all kind of skin tone. The left can work for darker skin tone, the middle for fair skin tone, and the right works for light to medium skin tone like me.

Anyway, I hope everybody is having a good summer so far and getting that bronzed summer glow ;)
