An extended stay in the wilderness inevitably directs one’s attention outward as much as inward, and it is impossible to live off the land without developing both a subtle understanding of, and a strong emotional bond with, that land and all it holds.”
It's no secret that Into The Wild by Jon Krakauer is one of my favorite book. I quoted this particular book many times throughout the blog. Despite the overly romantized Chris McCandles and his unrealistic dream for living off the land, I do admire Mr. Supertramp for his pure idealism (and his guts to actually live in the wild). Also, there are so many wise words that got me thinking and couldn't help but to agree with. Such as "for each day to always have a new and different sun" or the fact that "happiness only real when shared". There is also "how important it is in life not necessarily to be strong, but to feel strong".
Anyway, this photos are from The Lodge Earthbound Adventure Park (Cibodas). A credit here to my boyfriend for always putting up with my annoying wish to visit super tourist-y places in our own hometown.
Wishing everyone a lovely weekend!
Well this one is not quite a town since it's just one house which is a little bit hobbit's like features. FYI, if you don't know what a hobbit is, and I'm quoting Mr. Potato Head here "you uncultured swine!"
But really, if you're under 30, you are uncultured swine if you're not familiar with what a hobbit is. Being a big LOTR fan, I'd say start with The Hobbit book and then work your way to the darker Lord of The Rings trilogy books.
Enough about the pop culture talk, these photos are from last week at Farmhouse Lembang. The entrance fee is 25 thousand rupiah per person and you can redeem the entrance ticket with a glass of milk. The place was packed even on a weekday so you might want to wait out a little bit until the hype has died down to come and visit.
Anyway, I was chaneling Bill Gates because this turtleneck has been sitting in my closet for a few weeks and I thought I'd wear it just because I can. Added a beanie for a more dramatic look.
Well, I hope everyone is having a great midweek :)
Put on a black top and a grey culotte the other day for a day around at an expo. Neutral on neutral has been on repeat lately. Easy peasy and always looking chic with this kind of color palette.
The past few weeks have been a very lazy week for me! Whenever I had free time, I resorted to my favorite TV show (The Big Bang Theory, anyone?) or playing games on my ipad (Star Chef is quite time consuming, guys). Altho I have been taking photos for the blog, I seemed to be more interested with a marathon and cooking virtual soups, instead of editing and typing. However, I'm forcing myself to actually sit in front of my laptop and getting a post done. And it does feel good being productive!
Well thank you for listening to rambling and wishing you a great week ahead.
I have been having a craving for solid clothes instead of my usual uniform which usually almost always involves a floral print of some sort. You can call it, a wardrobe deviation. Since I don't own a lot of them, I have been buying said items. Black, white, grey, and navy have been on my mind for everytime I try to shop and when I try to dress up. I guess it's a way to a cooler chicher me? :)
Anyway, life update! I had a tooth cavity back in November and have been going to treatment for the past 3 months. Good news is, my porcelain crown will be ready this Friday. Yeay! No more going back and forth to the dentist every week. To be honest, I have never been so agile in brushing my teeth since I got the cavity. Silver lining in everything, right?
Well, wishing you a great midweek!
Feeling like an Elsa a few weeks ago in this winter blue long dress. You probably sick of hearing this, but I love love love lace. So it's no surprise that this dress has a little bit of lace included at the top ;)
The back details are also super cute with the little bow. The more reason I love this dress so much.
If you like this dress, you can browse around at
PickeDresses.com to find similar dress. You can browse by style, color, and even by popular city! I checked out
Toronto Prom Dresses and fell in love with a few of the dress choices.
My favorite is definitely the left one. I love the uneven hem line and obviously, because of the gorgeous lace! The middle one is a runner up because of the beading. What can I say, I'm a girly girl and I love everything that shines. The mermaid number on the right has amazing back details so that one is a great option too :)
The prices range around $400. However,
Toronto Prom Dresses is having a sale so hurry up and visit the website :)

Hello! First official outfit post in 2016 :)
As the title says, I thought I started the year with my style uniform which is a top and a highwaist skirt, preferably, printed one. Do you have a style uniform? Something you always wear and you always feel good in it? Do share!
Anyway, I have a wedding this weekend and I have been browsing around
MissyDressesau.com for some inspiration. Their
Semi Formal Dresses section is a dream! Loved so many of their pretty little dresses. My favorite is this
short beaded dress as pictured below. I would definitely changed the color tho! Don't wear white to a wedding unless you're the bride... The beading gives just enough shine and I'm all about short and sweet dresses. Definitely my cup of tea.
