Dreams don't work unless you do!
So get up, get off internet, and hustle hustle hustle. Once you put out your best effort, up is the only way. Don't compare your today with other people's success story (I found them to be depressing), just compare yourself with your work yesterday (which I found motivational).
Anyway, what I wore on a Valentine's Day. Excuse my crazy hair (you can't really see it because I chose the photos carefully). I really need to get it straightened (my hair is naturally curly, here I sort of ironed them, but it was ruined because of the humidity) but le boyfriend opposed because my hair would look super flat and lifeless, he says. True, but only like, 4 weeks, and then I'll have beautiful silky hair. Well, at least, for a good 3 to 4 months. LOL.
Wishing you a good midweek :)
I hope everybody had a lovely Valentine's Day either you're a single or a couple :)
Just popping in to show off my super pretty flowers in a box courtesy of le boyfriend.
A little life update, I was sick for the first days of last week (Monday through Wednesday I spent most of my days in bed) with a bad case of ulcer problem and a throat sore; still not feeling that well but I powered throught V'Day. Also, I am currently having a toothache yet once again. It was only two weeks ago since I had my permanent filling for my last case of cavity. So yeah, a little bit frustrated as to the condition of my health but Oh Honey songs have been a true consolation throughout the week :)

Have a great week ahead, lovebirds!
That darling little house behind me is an exceptionally small cafe located at Pondok Hijau, Bandung called Warkop Modjok. I came there on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed. I can totally understand the hype.. The place is super cute in its rustic quaint way and the price is ridiculously cheap. In a Bandung standard, one cup of coffee equals about 30-40k Rupiah (around US$2-$3) but here.. One cup of coffee is half of the usual price. So yeah, who doesn't love a cute place to drink coffee without hurting our wallet, right? Hence, the reason why the place was crowded and we couldn't even bother try to find a seat and go straight to our next destination…
Will update when I finally try out their drinks and light bites :)
Who's excited for Chinese New Year? I know I am!
So yes, I'm excited mostly because of the red envelops filled with money (as we Asians call it, angbao) but also to see all of our relatives. If in US and UK family usually gathers in Christmas time, we Asians gathers in Chinese New Year. You can say.. we are highly motivated ;)
Just popping in to show you my best twirl game in this lovely sabrina dress. And it's in red, so it's very appropriate for this time of the year because as Indonesian Chinese, red color is believed to bring good luck and scare away the evil spirits. I'm not much of a superstitious but I do love red. It's a fun vibrant color that suits all kind of skin tone.
Have a good weekend, all!
Just popping in to say hi and have a great Monday!
I had a tiring weekend out of town for an aunt' birthday and can't wait for it to be a weekend once again so I can just chill out and relax. I did spend a good time surrounded by distant relatives and seeing my cutie patootie niece who has grown up so much since the last I saw her is the best. Well, how can we not talk about family when family is all we got, right?
Was wearing this simple red dress to get in the mood of Chinese New Year :)
One week away and I'm so so excited to get the red angpao #wheresmymoney
Do you celebrate Chinese New Year?
