Hi, guys! 2012 has been wonderful. Some bumps road, but I do believe those obstacles are just God's hidden blessings. Now here's my top ten favorite memories in chronological order. Hopefully, you enjoy reading (although it is long!) it as much as I enjoyed typing it.

(1)Went to Australia
In January, me and my big family went to Sydney, Australia for a cousin's wedding. (Read my Sydney Vacation Diary) Me and my sis went on our way alone to visit a dear friend in Melbourne as well for a few days. (Read my Melbourne Vacation Diary). It was a really fun vacation. I have never travelled out of the country with so many people before. At least without a tour. Hence, although it was hectic, but the little cousins and nieces definitely brings out the best in all of us :)

(2)Watched Annie The Broadway Show
My sis and I have a secret dream of becoming a Broadway performer and travelled all around the world. (Although for me, now it is shifted to be a costume department since it's also as fun but without the stage-fright). Therefore, we always up to watch a Broadway show and daydreaming of becoming one of them!

(3)Sisterhood Getaway to Singapore
In March, my sis and I went to Singapore. It was just the two of us and we managed to check all our must to do list (read my Singapore Vacation Diary). They are photoshoot at Singapore Botanical Garden, have a meal and tea time at TWG, ride the Transformers at Universal Studio, being hip in Clarke Quay, visited Narnia exhibition, watched Wicked The Broadway show, and last but not least, breakfast at Antoinette Mandarin Hotel. (Click the bold sentences to read more)

(4)Danced at World Prayer Assembly
It was truly an honour to dance on such a big event (there were around one thousand dancers!) in one of the most popular landmark in Jakarta and I am looking forward for the next project with Shekina Glory team in 2013! The six months of practice and physical training seems like nothing compare to the feeling of accomplishment we had after we finished with the event.

(5)Hong Kong trip with Chan Family
My circle of friends called each other with “chan” which is Japanese, and added at the end of your first name to sign a close relationship with the caller. There were eight of us girls strolled around Hong Kong. I enjoyed every second despite the exhaustion and the unbearable heat. (Read my Hong Kong Vacation Diary)

(6)A Successful Birthday Surprise from my friends
I am not sure why, but I seem to always ruin a birthday surprise for me. It was either I couldnt wake up at midnight or I spotted them accidentally. This year though, it was a success! And I can finally stop feeling guilty to my friends. LOL. So so lucky to have such great and caring friends!

(7)Attended Lux Event
It was sort of like a dream to be invinted to an event held by one of the big company in Indonesia. Although it's more for a beauty blogger (since Lux is a body soap brand) but I couldn't help but feeling lucky to be recognized from my little blog and then invinted to the event and met new blogger friends in person! (Read my review on the event : Dazzling Night)

(8)Graduated from Bible School
My church collaborated with ECC and invited the team from City Harvest Church Singapore who is well known for their School of Theology to held a mini Bible School here in Bandung. It was honestly one of the best decision in my life. In a course of six months, I learned a lot about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. And it really turned my life around! I mean, once you started living the way God wants you to live, I couldn't help but to quote McCandles here “God, it's great to be alive”. Really, my life has been multiplied, my capacity of loving and patience has grown, and I am more open also more confident because God's love filled all the way to my toes! When you feel loved, secure, and just at peace, life seems easy. And I honestly feel there's nothing I can not do with Him who give me strength. I strongly suggest all Christians in Bandung to sign up! There will new batch of class in 2013. Will update you later about the details :)

(9)Excellent Generation (XG) “Emerge” 2012 Youth Festival
Read more about Emerge : Emerge. All my life I have never been a fan of being a committee. But once I was thrown into the situation, although stressful, full of tears and sweats, it really does process you to be a better, more cooperative person. It was such a humbling experience to serve others, especially those who are not Christian. Also, with the motivation of serving your God, to save others who have lost their ways, it really bring all of us together into this one unison towards the same goal. And yes, it was a beautiful thing to see us youngsters under 30 worked so hard just to make sure one more people knows our great God and just feel His love in their life. That was the true reward. None of us were paid for all of our work, yet, each of us did give all their best. That is called bearing your cross!

(10)Getting Paid to Do What I Love
I honestly never dreamed of my blog to actually make money, although I do dream this blog brings me to many free-clothes. God really gives you more than you ever dreamed of! When I was contacted by Laku.com team to post several posts each month and get paid for every post, not to mention, to be given an allowance to shop at their store every month, I literally jump at the opportunity. It was really rewarding to make money from doing something that you love to do. Although the money is not much (plus the shopping allowance, it was half than my usual monthly paycheck) but it's enough to purchased my ticket to Bali this January :)

May 2013 brings more happy memories, or even tears, I don't mind, as long as I have my God and my family and my friends, any kind of situation seems fine. I never make any New Year resolution. It's sort of overrated, I think. But I do wish to be able to serve God more, travel more, and basically just "try", you know. Instead of saying "no" just because I simply don't think I could. I want to just "dream, explore, and discover" sort of thing going on in 2013.

"I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world.
You're doing things you've never done before and more importantly, you're Doing Something. Don't freeze, don't stop, don't worry whatever it is : art, or love, or work or family or life. Whatever it is you're scared of doing, DO IT.
Make your mistakes, next year and forever." - Neil Gaiman

2013, here we come..
Have a happy New Year, all!

I am not a party girl so creating a party worthy look is actually quite challenging with my closet overflowing with pastel and florals. This sequined top is a fun way to look instantly festive while the maroon velvet skirt creates a glamourous vibe. Top is thirfted, velvet skirt c/o Oasap.com, bracelet and clutch c/o Laku.com, tattoo tights (so many cute designs!) c/o Romwe, while shoes is Zonzo.

What are your NYE plans?
Mine is most likely pretty much the same as last year, which is a good night sleep. Yup, that's how wild I am.

How was everyone's Christmas?
Over the past improptu self-made holiday from the blog I spent it by exchanging gifts followed by a movie and dinner with friends, had an awesome time managing costumes at The Messenger Christmas play at my youth church, went to the Christmas mass with my family, visited a dear friend who just lost her mother, played too many games in my IPad, watched too many episodes of Running Man, went for a much needed facial, and shot this video.

I think I'm starting to like editing video! I even spend two hours last night just browsing around looking for different instrumental songs for my video background music. I particularly love this upbeat fun song in this video.
Anyways, this is not my best video but I do hope you like it.

Happy holiday, all!
Anyway, where are you going to this holiday?

Hello, very nice to see the blogsphere again!

This time, I want to share another party-worthy-look wearing a dress with collar. As my fellow loyal readers already know, I have strange obsessesion with collars. Hence, when I found this dress with the bejewelled collar, I thought it will be perfect for any kind of parties and the next thing I know, I was going home with this baby. Of course, you can always trick your other solid-colored-dress and paired it with a detachable sparkly collar or the continuely-rising collar necklace. I think a little bling goes along the way :)

Dress is from a boutique called Opera. Belt and earrings are from Laku.com. Heels from Hong Kong. (Check out my Hong Kong Vacation Diary!)

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!
I am giving myself a Christmas holiday and I'll see you with another post after Christmas. Decided to talk about holiday outfits in the last week of 2012 (and definitely a "Looking Back" post!) <3 p="p">

Oh, and happy birthday to Jesus Christ!
My saviour, my rock, my refugee, my source of strength, my everything. I literally don't know what I would do without my God, my Jesus, and the holy spirit. Let's spread the giving back atmosphere all around us. Even a smile is a gift, you know.

"Everytime you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing"
-Mother Theresa-

PS. My church is having  Christmas Celebration with a special (a very funny one!) drama from XG Drama Team. So if you're in Bandung this Friday (21.12.12) we would love for you to come! It will be hold at GBI Aruna no. 9. Open door at 5PM. Free entry. No tickets needed. Just simply come!

Second vlog :)
My hair looks crazy and I hope you find my voice not too irritating. I am one of those high-pitched voice girls and sometimes wishing to have a huskier voice. Do comments about the pronounciation or my talking speed. I tend to speak too fast. My dad always remind me to speak slowly! LOL. The background song is The Natcrucker by Tchaikovsky. An old time favorite of mine and sis. Again, thanks to my ever so reliable big sis for shooting this video. Give her a twitter shoutout at @vanesaindrawan

Wishing everyone a lovely Sunday!

Hi, all! I feel like with the 25th coming to us faster than we can say "Santa Claus" it is imperative to find the perfect dress for all your Chritmas soiree needs. And fear not, I have found one! #happydance
If you want this particular dress which I love because not only the red color reminds me of Santa and Christmas festivities, you can CLICK HERE (updated : out of stock) and get yourself one. You deserve a gift after all those Christmas shopping for your loved ones :)

Here I styled this dress for four different ocassion.

(1) Christmas Mass Look
For chuch, I really want to look sophisticated and just elegant. I really want to welcome Jesus Christ in my most Audrey Hepburn galore. Decided to add a statement necklace as the focus. Belt and clutch and matching red heels are enough to get me through all "Silent Night" songs.

(2) Christmas Dinner Look
From the church, we all most likely will be hungry. I know I will. I simply switch my necklace to a subtle one and added this fun multicolor flower printed blazer. Tuck my clutch to my studded bag and switch the heels to a black heels. I absolutely love how neat I look but still managed to look really young with the vibrant colors of the blazer. It's a look that is more for a rather "classy" dinner with family or your boyfie.

(3) Christmas Party Look
Maybe you're not a church-kind-a-girl and prefer party hopping to your hippest friends's houses. I added a denim jacket for a quick "cool" look. Pinned one side of my hair to show this incredibily fun one side long earrings. Use my clutch as a crossover body bag for more freedom when you dance to Jingle Bell Rock!

(4) Boxing Day Look
After a great night out with family and friends, I will most definitely want to dress super cozy the next day. Simply throw your favorite sweater over the dress and your favorite black loafers with a matching black vintage bag. Couldn't help but to put on my matching red beret hat tho. And I'm off for coffee and pancake breakfast!

I hope you like the looks I put together. I think I cover pretty much everything. The Christmas party look can actually work for New Year Eve party too! Although you might want to add more bling. I always find red is such a vibrant and festive color and not just for Christmas day. If you haven't found your perfect party dress for this year, my suggestion is to go for deep red color such as oxblood or maroon.

Anyway, wishing everyone a lovely day!

I'm sure you all familiar with Velvet, which come across many times in blog. But here's a hipper younger sister named Le Bijou. Their items are almost similar, even the prices are quite the same, but Le Bijou has more fun and interesting pieces! I personally adore this multicolored sweater. You can click here to view the item. Le Bijou is launching their December collection soon. Don't miss it!

Another highlight of this outfit is this adorable floral crown! Thanks to Dhievine for sending me this baby. Absolutely love them. Perfect for winter floral crown with its muted color :)

I am wearing sweater c/o Le Bijou. Skirt c/o Oasap.com. Collar necklace c/o Juerii. Floral crown c/o of Dhievine. Stockings from PVJ. Floral bag by Forever21. And kitten heels are Rotelli.

Hopefully everybody is having a good day in this magical 12.12.12 date!

I had a strange urge to style up this batik skirt sent by the kind Dhievine in a "cool" style. Since I really think batik is cool and the patterns of batik have so much range that it is impossible to count. And ofcourse, wearing batik makes me feel very Indonesian today. Go patriotism!

Dhievine provides many items in batik and I do think what they are doing is amazing. In terms of batik pride and preserving the beauty of batik, reaching for us youngsters who often avoid batik like avoiding rain. They make items that are super wearable and the cutting and styling is very today so don't be afraid to wear batik anymore, Indonesian.. Or you know, any tourists out there! Dhievine provides beautiful, well-cut, rich-fabric (sometimes cheap batik smells, weighs a ton and itchy in your skin, but this skirt is odor free plus very light weight and smooth inside out!) items with very reasonable prices. They also make floral crowns. More about that on the next post this Wednesday :)

I am wearing 60s cat eyed sunnies by RiotsBarbie, top by Velvet, Rivet studded detachable collar c/o Romwe, Fuji Mum simple skirt c/o Dhievine,  and jeans jacket from Scotish.

Wishing everyone a great start of the week!
I have been feeling tired and lack of energy lately.. Checking in with bed early today <3 p="p">
