Hi, everyone.
Went to Arah Coffee Pasundan Bandung yesterday. Arah Coffee Bandung recently opened about a month ago I believe. We went to Arah Coffee Pasundan Bandung on a Monday afternoon so the place was quite empty. But that is also perhaps because the place is incredibly spacious so it just feels empty.
Arah Coffee Pasundan Bandung interior has clean lines with lots of woods which I don’t really love but I know kids these days are obsessed with this kind of minimalism. And to be honest I don’t hate the minimalist Japan-esque vibes either.
I have to admit I love the big space.
It feels airy and roomy.
So we ordered two drinks and one ice cream.
Left is Kopsu Arahbica (Rp 28k) - husband do not approve. He took a sip and we brought the rest home.
Middle is Strawberry Sundae (Rp 19k) - husband is okay with this. It’s not great but it just taste like your ordinary ice cream with some strawberry jam.
On the right is my Matcha (Rp 33k) - it’s not bad but then again, I’ve had better matcha.
I guess the main attraction of the place is their photogenic spots that almost feels like an art space of some kind. I personally like the vibe of the place, just wish the drinks were better.
Parking was small but it somehow can fit to about six cars. Our drinks come out fast enough. Nothing special about the service. Not sure if I will come back.
Oh, they don’t have any food as per now. Just drinks and some sad-looking cookies.

Hi, everyone.
Went to Bask Cafe & Resto Setiabudi Bandung a few days ago. We actually went on a weekend Bask Cafe Setiabudi Bandung was practically empty. Most likely because it’s new and the location of the cafe is behind some sort of studio so on the front, it just looks like a studio and not a restaurant.
Anyway, first impression I get the feeling that I was in Lembang with all the greens. Which isn’t so bad. Nothing impressive about the interior.
We decided to eat at one of terrace. It was quite windy and just before we finished, someone burned trash so we did got some burnt smell. Oh also, when the wind blows, we can smell the sewage which is very much unpleasant. My suggestion is definitely sit at the top near the bar.
We ordered Cafe de Paris Steak (Rp 95k).
It was okay. The butter really helps. Meat is tender enough eventho it was medium well.
We also ordered Spaghetti Bolognaise (Rp 55k).
I do like the sauce. Not so sure about the chicken katsu. A pretty unique combo I guess. The chicken katsu was so so.
Husband ordered Bask Lemonade (Rp 35k).
It was basically matcha + lemon which is a weird combo for me. Def would not recommend.
Overall we had an okay-ish time BUT the waiter didn’t input our food order to the kitchen so we ended up waiting for almost an hour. That was very unprofessional of them. Fortunately the waiter seemed very apologetic and even another waiter apologized when we were paying. They did however, gave us a complimentary ice cream which was nice. My husband loves ice cream. Parking is spacious enough.
