Woodyland Eatery Bandung

Hi, everyone.

Went to the recently opened Woodyland Eatery Bandung.

We went to Woodyland Eatery Bandung on a Saturday and it was actually pretty crowded. But we got a table right away.

Woodyland Eatery Bandung offers an experience of eating like you were in a forest when you’re actually in the middle of the city which I admit is pretty cool.

I was tempted to eat outside so we can watch the waterfall but it was also really cloudy and of course, 30 mins after we arrived, it started to rain.

Most of those who ate outdoor ended up on the 2nd floor because most of the tables were taken.

Husband ordered Sirloin Steak (Rp 85k).

Tbh, would not recommend this one:

Beef was very chewy and lack seasoning. Mushroom sauce was also no good. But the mashed potatoes were okay-ish.

I had Chicken & Spaghetti Combo with pesto sauce

 (Rp 58k). 

The menu said pesto spaghetti with grilled chicken but from the photo alone, we can clearly see it’s a fried chicken katsu. I didn’t mind because the dish looks exactly like the pic on the menu so I knew what I was getting for.

We also ordered corn ribs (Rp 23k).

Ehh.. we had better corn ribs. 

It lack seasoning but not bad.

Highlight of the place is definitely the waterfall with the mist. Pretty sure they use a mist machine from what my husband observed. Which does create a dreamy atmosphere. Had the hydrangea flowers were fully bloomed it would’ve been downright magical. Sadly hydrangeas don’t bloom for very long and notorious for being high maintenance. So perhaps stalk their instagram page to see if the flowers were blooming or not.

The food came out really fast! We took pics for like 15 mins and when we got back to the table, the food were already there. Price for the portion is very much affordable. Overall we had a nice time. Service was good enough. Nothing special but nothing bad either.
