Decided to be a Minnie Mouse this year. My friends gave me this polkadot skirt as a birthday gift and I immediately thought about this chipper and feisty Disney character. It's a fairly easy costume and costs me nothing since I have everything already except the mouse ears.. My sister bought one when we went to Hong Kong Disneyland and I simply borrowed it.
Anyway, I hope all of you is having a great time in this spooky season.
Trick or treat, all!

Can you guess which is who? (left to right : Alice in Wonderland, Wednesday Addams, Holly Golighty from Breakfast at Tiffany's)
Anyway, as you can see, I'm not a fan of costume-y costume. I'm more about easy not-too-out-there costume. Things that I can find around the house easily and just get into the merryment without too much thought! Hopefully all of you will have a wonderful and spooky Halloween time!

I have never been a big fan of red. I find it to be a very festive-striking color and I always keep the reds for special ocassions such as birthdays or Chinese New Year or Christmas. However, the color is slowly finding its way to my daily outfit. It just instantly brightens up any gloomy day.
I still can't get over of my Persunmall skirt. It has the prettiest colors and a flattering A-line cut. The skirt goes surpisingly well for plenty of ocassion. I wore it for work, church, and even on weekends. Go hurry get this pretty skirt on this link ->

As you can witness on the last photo, I was incredibly happy to wear this comfy and adorable sweater from
Amore Knitwear! (I'm sorry about the broken link on my
Minions post.
HERE is the correct one). I can honestly tell you this is a high quality sweater cause I washed it a couple times and it still has the original color. The outside and the inside prints are exactly match (the numero one of a good quality apparel) and not a stray strand in sight.
Do head over to their webstore and purchased at least one of this absolutely worth-the-price sweater. It's a one of a kind sweater that you'll wear the entire cold weather season :)
P.S. As you can see on their web, The Sweetest Escape did a collaboration taking some pics with their precious sweaters and featured on their online store.
Have a great weekend, all!

Hello hello.
Coming down with a slight runny nose due to the declining temperature but all is well with my hot tea and giant blanket. Here's a look that I want to wear for almost a month but never got a chance to do so. I'm all about tea-length skirts these days which is strange considering I rarely wear them on daily basis. It just has that grandma vibe which exudes elegance and casual at the same time. Naturally, when I feel like dressing up, this kind of skirt definitely comes in mind.
Wishing all of you a happy and healthy midweek!

Lawangwangi is a relatively new hip place located in Dago with breezy cool weather and creative arts everywhere making this one is worth a visit. It's an art gallery with a cafe inside (pretty much like Nu Art in Setraduta) I went there on a weekend and the cafe was full even before dinner hour. You can make a reservation first via phone. I'm not very artsy but I was still impressed with the pieces. From 3D paintings to a red chandelier made from buttons until an alien statue.
The food price ranges around Rp 50k-75k while drinks were around Rp 20k-40k. There weren't that many variations on the main course but they have plenty snacks as well such as nachos and chicken wings. I ordered chicken shnitzel and it was totally edible. Nothing special in particular tho.
Lawangwangi Creative Space located at Jalan Dago Giri no. 99, Bandung.

"All in all, it was a never-to-be-forgotten summer - one of those summers which come seldom into any life, but leave a rich heritage of beautiful memories in their going - one of those summers which, in a fortunate combination of delightful weather, delightful friends, and delightful doing, come as near to perfection as anything can come in this world " -- L.M. Montgomery, Anne's House of Dreams
Taking you back to those schorching hot days that I'm sure you all miss.

A few days ago I bought a Pentax Q10. My reason buying this tiny little camera is definitely for its compactibiliy. It's so much smaller and less intimidating than my usual DSLR. The camera is definitely can not substitute my beloved Nikon D5000 (been using it for almost four years now) but I lack of compact camera when I'm not in the mood of bringing something so heavy like my Nikon.
As you can see the images above were heavily edited (found the tutorial
HERE to create a darker image for your pics) but the sharpness of the original pics were fine. I uploaded the original pic below..
My favorite part about this Pentax besides how small it is, it's the bokeh control dial. It creates a dreamy photo without trying altho with a rather too much bokeh but that's what makes it so dreamy. Pic below..
Even though it doesn't have that much depth of field when I tune it to AV (it has only F2.8 unlike my F1.8 Nikon) that is my preference when taking pics, it's a decent camera for when taking photos with your DSLR is just not a viable option (ex. when attending a wedding, a group hangout with people you barely know, a field trip with school, etc.). This Pentax has plenty of filters and it can record video as well and since it has a lens, you can actually manually change the focus while recording which I think it's important when shooting any kind of video.
I had a higher expectation from this camera obviously. But I guess once I found the right lens (yes, it's an interchangeable camera) it can be a loveable camera. Looking forward to take this new precious one for an adventure!
Have a happy midweek, dearest...

Purchased this sailor dress a few days ago and I had a sudden enlightment to do a sixties inspired look. A beehive hair style, gigantic over the top sunnies, paired with red lips and you're all set. I hope you like this look as much as I do :)
Happy Monday and let's smile all week long!
