Hi, everyone.
Now that Christmas is officially over, time to move on to New Year 2023 outfit ideas. The holy trinity of New Year outfit has always been sequins, velvet, and satin. So here are three New Year 2023 outfit ideas featuring sequins, velvet, and sateen.

First up is a satin dress. I love satin for their shiny look, creating a luxurious vibe. Silk is obviously the better choice but pure silk can be expensive for a dress you’re going to wear once a year so I definitely prefer satin.

Second look featuring my favorite fabric; velvet.
Most of my velvet items are stretchable so they are very comfy to wear AND warm enough to wear for a tropical chilly windy day without any layer but not too warm.
Velvet also has some shine to the fabric creating a very chic New Year appropriate look to celebrate the end of an era.

I’ll be honest, I only wear sequins for pics. I never wear them out since it feels a bit Vegas for my medium-sized city. I do love the sparkle tho! I toned all the sequins with an all black fit.

Anyways, I hope your 2022 has been okay, maybe not great, but at least we get through it, right?
Cheers for the new year.

Hi, everyone.
Went for an early Christmas dinner with my husband on 21st Dec at Gion Izakaya Bandung. Gion Izakaya Bandung is not quite new, being opened late in 2020. But it was our first time at Gion Izakaya Bandung. Gion Izakaya Bandung is located at Wu Tower, same building with Amo Cafe.

Hi , everyone.

It’s been a minute. Today I want to share some Christmas outfit ideas 2022. Where I live, we don’t have any snow and weather is pretty much in the 20 Celcius degrees so my outfits are usually pretty simple with not much layer.

First look is a dressy soft green dress with oversized collar creating a modest look with the midi length. I personally love the collar. Added a headband to trick people I put effort on my hair.

The second look is a simple cozy outfit but still festive with the red cardigan and red lip. My red heels helps to make this outfit more dressy. For an even more casual feel, you can opt for white sneakers. Perfect outfit for gift hunting.

Third outfit is something very dressy. It can even pass as evening attire and I did wore this to a friend’s wedding. A white dress is a no-fail option for Christmas. It looks good on everyone from little kids to grandmothers. Always an elegant choice for those fancy parties.
I decided for an all white look with my bag & shoes but added a gold belt for a focal point.

Last outfit is basically the same as the second outfit. Just switched the cardigan and shoes. Different t-shirt too but it’s basically a white t-shirt just like the 2nd outfit. And yes I did brought around a reindeer headband just to take pics. It’s lightweight, not too big, and make your outfit looks more Christmas-y without looking too much like a Santa hat. Would def recommend a reindeer headband.

And those are pretty much it. I hope you enjoyed the Christmas-y pics and the outfits too. I do find a good festive cardigan can really make a basic outfit like jeans and tee look Christmas ready AND keeps you warm enough.

Ciao, everyone.
Today' post is from the recently opened San Gimignano Bandung. We went to San Gimignano Bandung on a Wednesday and place was surprisingly bustling. Almost all tables were full. We actually seated outdoor for a little bit before we can sit inside. It was that full. We did went to San Gimignano Bandung on a Sunday and it was a bust, place was packed and there was a waiting list, so we decided to eat someplace else. You can say, San Gimignano Bandung is quite a hit these days.

Hi, everyone.
Today' post is from Kana Cafe Setrasari Bandung. We went on a Saturday morning around 10 AM and the place was quiet. Only two other tables were occupied.
Upon first impression, I love the big round window at the entrance. It looks very photogenic. Inside is surprisingly spacious and there is even a second floor but I didn't go up. Interior wise it feels warm and inviting with the wood flooring and the use of lots of greeneries. Plus point for the green accents as well.
Shopping for jeans can be a nightmare for anyone, but it can be especially difficult for curvy women. Denim brands often don't cater to plus-size figures; when they do, the styles are often frumpy and uninspired. However, it is possible to find well-fitting, flattering jeans—you have to know where to look in the wholesale jeans for women collection. Keep reading our top tips for finding the best jeans for curvy women.

Bootcut jeans are always a good choice for curvier women as they give the appearance of longer legs and a slimmer waist.

Bootcut jeans are the way to go if you want to create an hourglass shape. Pairing them with a heel can help to create the illusion of even longer legs. They can be paired with various tops, from casual t-shirts to dressier blouses. They can be worn for various occasions, from running errands to going out on the town.

Dark washes help to downplay any areas in which you may feel self-conscious.

If you're ever feeling self-conscious about an area of your body, the best solution is to downplay it with strategic clothing choices. And one of the easiest ways to do this is by reaching for a pair of dark-wash jeans. These jeans are versatile and can be dressed up or down to suit any occasion. They have a slimming effect that helps to disguise areas you're uncomfortable with.

Fabric with stretch is key for a comfortable, flattering fit - look for denim with at least 10% spandex or elastane.

With knowledge about fabric content, you can up your denim game and find jeans that look and feel great. Stretchy fabrics like spandex or elastane are key for a comfortable, flattering fit. Look for denim with at least 10% spandex or elastane - anything less won't hold its shape throughout the day. And when it comes to washing, darker indigo hues are always more slimming than light washes.

High-waisted jeans will help to create an hourglass figure and elongate your torso.

High-waisted jeans are a style that has been gaining popularity recently, and for a good reason. This is beneficial for women with a shorter torso, as it can help to give the appearance of a longer and leaner frame. High-waisted jeans often have a slimming effect on the hips and thighs, making them a flattering choice for many body types.

If you're looking for something trendier, wear ripped or distressed jeans - make sure they fit well!

Ripped and distressed jeans have been in style for the past few years, showing no signs of going out of fashion. The key to wearing ripped jeans is to choose a pair that fits well. Skinny jeans are the most popular style, but you can also find ripped boyfriend and flared jeans. Try on a few different pairs before making a decision. You want the ripped details to look intentional, not like you accidentally tore your jeans. Once you find the perfect pair of ripped jeans, wear them with a simple top and heels for a chic look.

Conclusion

The right pair of jeans can make all the difference in how you feel about yourself. We hope our tips for finding the best jeans for curvy women have been helpful. Check wholesale jeans websites for great deals on designer denim when shopping online. What type of jeans do you like to wear? Do you have any go-to brands? Let us know in the comments below!

chunky platform loafers for fall

Hi, everyone.
Today’ post we are talking about the classic loafers but with a little update that has platform on their soles to which people called chunky loafers. It has a slight grungy vibe and surprisingly I don’t hate it.

Anyway, I created three looks with the loafers.

fall outfit denim dungaree

First I paired it with a denim pinafore dress and black sweater. As I said, the loafer lend a tomboy-ish vibe to the overall outfit.

Wearing the loafers with socks helps to create a more feminine look.

Second outfit is a simple black pants with zipped up sweater. I personally love the zipped up sweater that creates a collar when unzipped.

Third and last outfit is still with the same pants but now with the good old classic striped sweater. For a black and white outfit, I like having a bright color bag for a contrast and a pop of color.

While the platforms helps to create a more current and youthful look; I still prefer my normal loafers. It just suits my personal style better. I also would not recommend soles that are too thick, I think mine is just enough if you have a classic and feminine style. But if you have a more tomboy-ish style then the thicker the soles the better!

Fits true to size if you have normal feet for wide or chubby feet, size up.

A damaged property is, naturally, one of the most frustrating and stressful aspects of living in our ideal property. When it comes to a home maintenance there are a a lot of jobs that we can do ourselves, but it's important to understand that when there is damage to a property, whether it's something that has been there for a while do to wear and tear, or there has been damage like a storm, we've got to have an understanding of what it takes to get the problem fixed. Here are a few things you need to bear in mind.

Understand What You Can Realistically Do
The money conscious among us will always think that we should just try and do something ourselves to save a few pennies. The problem is that sometimes we can do things that cause a lot more problems further down the line. For example, painting a wall is something that we should all be able to do, but the problem can compound further if there are issues with the wall, for example, it's not of an even texture. While texture repair services can help to ensure the wall has the same texture and color all round the property, if you decided that it just needed a lick of paint, but now it's resulted in the wall looking discolored or disfigured this can easily add to your home maintenance bill.

Being Willing to Roll Up Your Sleeves
The toughest part of fixing any form of damage to property is not just about understanding our skillset but also recognizing when we should give things a go. There are a lot of people that don't have the confidence to complete any form of maintenance tasks, but the reality is that we all have the skills within us, albeit to an extent. As far as DIY is concerned, we should all have a few simple skills up our sleeves. This could include putting a bed together, isolating the source of a leak and switching it off, and even changing the U-bend in the sink. The great thing is that these days there are a lot of fantastic resources out there. DIY resources online come thick and fast, but it's about making sure that you understand every part of the task that you wan to complete before you start. But before you do this, you have to be willing to make the changes. Much like anybody needs to know how to change to oil in their car, the fact is that when there are issues in the home, we can fix some of the damage.

Make Sure You Do It Safely
Safety should be priority number one. After major damage such as after a storm, you can start getting to work by mopping up all the weather and waste, but it's important to make sure that you aren't compromising your safety in the process. For example, if there is water damage arising from contaminated water, also known as black water, this should be left to the professionals. It's always important to address your levels of safety in these environments who can do the task properly.
Circolo Resto Bandung

Hi, everyone.
Today’s post is from Circolo Restaurant & Bar, Bandung. Location is very strategic, on a busy main street. Circolo Restaurant & Bar Bandung recently opened about three months ago.
First impression, place is very nice. With dark colored wood dominating the space. Feels old school with the tables and chairs but the flooring and the minimalism on everything else creating a modern feel.

Circolo Resto & Bar

Beautiful blend of outdoor and indoor with the glass ceiling. I imagine this spot will be very cozy in the evening. We went there on a lunch so it was a bit hot with the sun.

This appetizer is called Truffle Croquette (Rp 77k)
It’s not as truffle-y as I thought it would be. Presentation is very nice, all with the box and the pebbles. Taste is not bad.

Fettuccine Bistecca (Rp 89k).
Also, not as good as I thought it would be. I still finished it tho. The pasta sauce tastes under-seasoned. And the black liquid tastes like soy sauce. The steak is pretty good tho!

Oh, they also gave this welcome bread for us. Which was nice. We like it. Bread is good & chewy.

I also ordered (fresh) Strawberry Juice (Rp 36k)
It’s okay.

Alamat circolo resto bdg

Overall, not sure if I should recommend since the food we tried were not so good. But I would definitely give the place another try and ordered something else. Service was okay nothing special. Food & drinks come out pretty fast. Parking is medium sized. I bet it will be packed on a weekend. We went there on a Thursday. If you are curious, since place is new, definitely come and visit.
They also have a 2nd floor but when we went there, there was a private corporate event so I didn’t check out the 2nd floor.

I do love their entrance!
Anyway, below is their menu.
As for alcoholic beverages, I’m not sure if those are available at all times. Usually they are available to order in the evening.
