If you have my BBM contact, you probably get the hints that I have been obsessing over Sir Arthur Conan Doyle genius creation of Sherlock Holmes. I watched the TV series and I must say, it is much more entertaining than the movies! I mean, the movies are all big and grand but I prefer the TV series much more. Maybe because it's relatable to us, youngsters, considering the setting is in our year! How marvelous is that? And now I am currently reading the stories republished by Puffin Classics. Therefore do expect some forgotten words such as dreadful, piteous, and vigil.

I have been on the look for the perfect white skirt that I could wear all summer long with any vintage blouse as I desire but alas, I found it nearing the end of summer.  However, I am determined to use it as often as I can possibly manage. After all, it is always sunny here in tropical Indonesia. This particular skirt stole my heart with those exquisite brocade detailing at the hem. What more a girl could ask? It also comes in peach color! Do head over to http://facebook.com/maize-clothing to get one for yourself.

This post dragged more than I expected! Apologies for that. Just let me leave you with my favorite quote from the great Mr. Holmes. (or is it Sir Arthur's??)

"Once you've ruled out the impossibles, whatever remains, however improbable, must be truth."

That is true indeed..

Let's fight the Monday blue

mint jacket & blouse - Forever21, floral skirt - Bershka, bag - Guess, flats - from HongKong!

Do excuse the lifeless hair. I got my hair straightened a few days ago and this how my hair will look like for two or three weeks in the future. Hopefully, less! *fingerscrossed*

Was covered in mints the other day and it seems only appropriate if I painted my nails in mint as well. Not exactly a fan of mint but this color is gaining popularity and being someone who is easily impressed, I decided to give it a shot.
Hopefully all of you is having a relaxing Saturday!
vintage dress (altered) - BonVieux Vintage, orange satchel bag - Les Catino, white wedges - BTC

Nothing beats feeling energized, happy, healthy, with no runny nose or cough every minute! Yes, I was sick. Well, still sickish.. But just the leftovers now. Pretty sure I'll be up to my normal self by tomorrow.
And hopefully, a proper outfit pic shall be taken soon :)

Got this vintage dress from BonVieux about two months ago and never got a chance to wear it until now. Excited! I love the tiny tiny floral prints and the ruffles at front. It's the little things indeed.

Decided to get my geeks on with the glasses and the novel. Just a few more chapters to finish. Personally, I love the story-line and the characters. Especially the two main characters, Quentin and Julia. Both outstanding magician and both super messed up. Kinda make me feel good about myself. Kinda make me feel it's okay to be human. To make mistakes, take the wrong quest, fall in love, fall out of love, to get lost in order to find yourself. Isn't that what we are all doing anyway? To find our true self and to be brave enough to be that person when we finally got it all figured out.

Just another silly musing. I think too much unimportant stuff as per usual.
Hopefully everybody is having a magical midweek!
vintage top - ShaSha, lace shorts - Sisterz, pink floppy hat - from a Facebook store whose name I forgot!, floral accented black stockings - PVJ, peep toe maryjane black heels - Charles&Keith

I fully realized the fact that my title has zero meaning.. It just sounded fun and grand at the same time. Pretty much the way I like things are. Also the fact that I was wearing a pink vintage-ish top, pink hat, and dashes of pink in my stockings seem to justified the title.

This top is quickly becoming a favorite from rows of my vintage blouses. It has all that vintage feel with the collar and the print and the colors. The fabric also unexplainably soft and silky. Plus the oversized is just the perfect oversized for me. Does that even make sense? I don't feel like life is making any sense lately. I sleep and eat enough (well, almost enough) yet I feel tired all the time. I guess it's a warning for exercises!
Hopefully everybody is having a fabulous weekend :)
oversized tosca shirt - PopStore, ruffled pink skorts - ShaSha, bag - Oasap.com , dreamcatcher necklace - BeMore, sandals - MarieClaire

Hello. Days have been long and cold. I guess it's the risk of living in tropics. Non-stop windy rain in summer. Despite being long, it also has been full of uncontrolled laughs. A dear friend is staying with us for a while. All over from down under Australia! Need to get my rest ASAP. Good night, bloggers :)

white vintage blouse with black lining - Down Memory Lanes, black highwaisted shorts - Bugis Street Market, white belt with gold buckle - Strawberry, maroon messenger bag - Hubsch, leopard print loafers with tassels - Rubi

Hello, it's still Saturday when I'm typing this and it was one of those long day that you actually enjoy despite the exhaustion ahead cause it's simply worth it.

I often get so caught up with colors I forgot that a simple black and white combination shows class and chic and the same time. Couldn't resist but to thrown in my maroon bag to stop me from looking like a woman version of a walking Charlie Chaplin tho.

This week Sunday music is Coldplay's Paradise.

"And so lying underneath those stormy skies
She'd say, 'oh, ohohoh I know the sun must set to rise"

I believe that our finest hour is in our darkest our. There, waiting for us, is a breakthrough. So refuse any kind of giving up since you'll never know how close you are to your dream.
Have a blessed Sunday, all!

top - Vintagers, necklace - PVJ, galaxy skirt - Romwe, creepers - glintz, bracelet ring - Diva

I watched a few episodes. It turned out there are several versions of Battlestar Galactica. I don't watch them that much but they are actually quite entertaining.. in a geeky way, I supposed. Lots of wormholes and "jump". Whatever. No offense, Galactica fans. What important is.. This amazing galaxy print skirt. I know it's summer, and this print sort of gives an autumn/winter vibe. However, I couldn't resist. I finally own a galaxy skirt. (And the fact that it's a asymmetrical just a plus point) Beware, Cylons!

floral crown - Via DeLaRosa, playground blouse - BLANCTERIA, floral blazer - Stradivarius, leather skirt - from sissy!, heels - The Editor's Market

This blazer to me, is a bittersweet combination. It can looks dainty but it can easily transform into an edgy item as well. Which is probably why I fell in love with it in the first place. Decided to take both sides, with lovely floral crown also the collar blouse and an edgy take with my leather skirt and the highest heels I own.

Floral blazer can easily looks granny-like, however, with its black color as basic, and red, yellow, plus blue vibrant color as the cherry on top, also with the zipper detailing, it screams vintage take in a modern way. You will never think of any grandmother when you saw this blazer. Enough rambling, I hope you think this blazer is as awesome as I do. And I know, I know, I haven't been blogwalking, I haven't been in the mood really. But I will reply all comments ASAP.
Good day, all!

Happened to feel slightly old school the other day. To be honest, when do I don't feel old school? Hence, the overall feel when I'm editing the pictures lean towards vintage-y colors. Pardon.. I guess I'm contradicting myself. The tingling feel and rush when I stumble upon vintage dresses that can be so much more with just a few tweaks here and there is a curse. I cannot seem to escape them. Plus, they are so cheap and look so adorable I almost able to justify six other vintage dresses occupying my closet. One for each day of the week ;)

Been a quite slow Sunday. Planning to finish Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie with chocolates and iced tea then perhaps.. a decent online shopping? As I received email notifications of July collections uploaded from some of my favorite stores. Wishing everyone a peaceful Sunday!
And ignore my rambling below.. I just feel like I need to share it!

dress - thrifted, belt - Velvet, bag - Longchamp, shoes - HongKong, watch - Guess

This week Sunday music is Kelly Clarkson's Dark Side.

Everybody's got a dark side
Do you love me?
Can you love mine?
Nobody's a picture perfect
But we're worth it
You know that we're worth it
Will you love me?
Even with my dark side?

Oh how the truth rings and pinch you in gentle way. I always keep my dark side confined. Display only the part of me that everybody want to see. All my naughtiness and selfish passions, are folded up small and placed at the bottom, and on the top, beautifully aired, are spread out the prettier me, ready for me to put on. In my childish brain, I don't think people will like me when I show my true self. And how sad that thought is, don't you think? Cause that means I have zero to none of true friend. It's the trust issue-thing that I'm still working on. Wish me luck?

Also, wishing you to have those people who love you just the way your beautiful self. Who ready to pick you up when you fall. Dust you off. Kiss you. Forgive you. Put up with you. Carry you. And never ceased to encourage you to be the best version of you. So while you're broken, one thing is true, you don't have to be alone.
Happy 4th of July! A day late, I know. I thought I joined the Independence day merriment in a subtle way by wearing USA flag colors. A touch of blue, white, and red.

Been a really long day but so happy cause I got my dream blazer at 50% off! This sale season is dangerous, people. I'm not even kidding! Hopefully everybody is keeping warm tonight (it is freezing here in my room, for some reason, typing in PJ's over sweater!) and wishing you a good night sleep.

oversized denim top - thrifted, lace shorts - Sister, Hello Kitty geeky glasses - from Japan, drawstring bag - Mangdu, oxfords - Gaudi

My sister and I've been meaning to visit our friend's cafe for what it seems like forever, and we finally did! With no sense of direction, relied only at our friend's text, we arrived and had a delightful tea time <3
