Circolo Resto Bandung

Hi, everyone.
Today’s post is from Circolo Restaurant & Bar, Bandung. Location is very strategic, on a busy main street. Circolo Restaurant & Bar Bandung recently opened about three months ago.
First impression, place is very nice. With dark colored wood dominating the space. Feels old school with the tables and chairs but the flooring and the minimalism on everything else creating a modern feel.

Circolo Resto & Bar

Beautiful blend of outdoor and indoor with the glass ceiling. I imagine this spot will be very cozy in the evening. We went there on a lunch so it was a bit hot with the sun.

This appetizer is called Truffle Croquette (Rp 77k)
It’s not as truffle-y as I thought it would be. Presentation is very nice, all with the box and the pebbles. Taste is not bad.

Fettuccine Bistecca (Rp 89k).
Also, not as good as I thought it would be. I still finished it tho. The pasta sauce tastes under-seasoned. And the black liquid tastes like soy sauce. The steak is pretty good tho!

Oh, they also gave this welcome bread for us. Which was nice. We like it. Bread is good & chewy.

I also ordered (fresh) Strawberry Juice (Rp 36k)
It’s okay.

Overall, not sure if I should recommend since the food we tried were not so good. But I would definitely give the place another try and ordered something else. Service was okay nothing special. Food & drinks come out pretty fast. Parking is medium sized. I bet it will be packed on a weekend. We went there on a Thursday. If you are curious, since place is new, definitely come and visit.
They also have a 2nd floor but when we went there, there was a private corporate event so I didn’t check out the 2nd floor.

I do love their entrance!
Anyway, below is their menu.
As for alcoholic beverages, I’m not sure if those are available at all times. Usually they are available to order in the evening.

Visited Gijon Steakhouse located at Jl. Trunojoyo, Bandung a few weeks ago. We went there on a weekend so we definitely booked ahead and since it was a big group, Gijon Steakhouse Bandung required a down payment.

Gijon Steakhouse Bandung’ place is more spacious than I thought it would be. But when we got there the place was relatively empty for a Sunday. It did filled up when we finished eating. Design wise, it does feel like steakhouse and complete with a bar nonetheless. Lots of wood element with a tiny bit of marble on the table & some on the wall. It has an old elegance feel which I do like.

In the past years, many Americans have experienced brutal weather situations that have caused severe damage to their homes. For example, hurricane damage is most common in Florida, Louisiana, and Texas. On average, storm damage can cost about $9,800, which can cause a serious dent in your finances. Figuring out your next steps after a storm damages your home can be overwhelming if you don't know your first steps toward a solution. Fortunately, with careful planning, these tips can help you return your home to a state of normalcy.

1. Remain Alert After Storm Damage

It is best to stay safe and sound during heavy storms. But even after the storm dies, you must continue to be alert, especially since the aftermath of a storm can increase injury risks. It also leaves you glass, exposed wires and nails, and weak walls that can easily collapse, making your home a dangerous place to be. It's also prudent to stay away from power lines that fell due to the storm. Most of them are extremely dangerous and still have electricity in them. Instead, alert emergency services when you see a downed power line in your neighborhood. You must also be on the lookout for gas smell and shut off valves to prevent explosions or gas inhalations.

2. Contact Your Insurance Agent

Once the storm passes and you've taken photos of the damage around your home, you must contact your insurance agent as quickly as possible and file a claim. It's also good to review your insurance policy to know what damages it covers. Many homeowners' insurance policies don't cover weather damage, but you can purchase new policies that cover all these circumstances. Nonetheless, you must contact you insurance agent and share your pictures with them and any required documentations they might need. Once you do, your insurance company will assess your damage and make an offer. It would be best to get legal help to help you throughout the process to ensure you get the best deal possible.

3. Prevent Further Damages

When a storm damages your home, it can expose you to further damage in the home and create many problems. Broken windows and doors can make way for pests to invade your home. Therefore, ensure that you cover all broken windows and doors with a tarp or plywood until you seek professional help. If your home is in extremely poor condition, it would be better to move out. You can choose to live at a nearby hotel to move in temporarily with family or friends until your home is safe to live in again.

Living in areas prone to extreme-weather conditions can put your home at risk of getting severely damaged when the weather becomes bad. Ensure that you opt for an insurance policy that covers bad weather damage to protect your home and assets. With these tips, you should get your home back in shape.

Hi, everyone.
This is the last set of my 15 x 15 Challenge Fall Edition. When I started this challenge, I wanted to also do a no-buy month to really encourage me to make the most of the clothes that I already own. I failed at that but this challenge has really reaffirmed my decision to invest in my own closet essentials of pants and shirts. I felt really good about them because I'm wearing a lot of them more than my other items.

After years and years of reading blog posts or watching videos on others' closet essentials, it took me a while to find what works for me, my lifestyle and my body. I'm glad that I'm listening to my own voice.
If you ever decided to try this 15 for 15 Challenge, I think you will get illuminated on what items you reach out the most and that could very well be your own closet essentials.

OUTFIT 11

Wore this for a date night in one of the hottest rooftop bar in our town.
The blazer really keeps me warm throughout the date.

OUTFIT 12

A very cozy no fuss outfit.
I find myself wearing shirt as an outer and pants more and more often so I got this exact pants for two more extra pair in other colors.

OUTFIT 13

Another pants moment with this time with a cardigan.
Wore this for a family dinner at one of my mom's favorite restaurant.

OUTFIT 14

I'm cheating a little bit with the tank top.
It is not originally in my list but I think wearing the black t-shirt three times in a row will look a bit repetitive so I break out this tank top.
Some might argue that since you usually wear a tank top underneath your shirt, then it can be counted as an underwear so.. there is that.

OUTFIT 15

A lazy day outfit elevated with a leather blazer.
I wore t-shirt three times just for the last leg and it shows how much I love t-shirts in general.
I do have a bunch of them and they are a great layering piece.

Here is a recap of all of my 15 outfits from the challenge. You can also read Part 1 and Part 2 to see each outfit better.
