Shenzhen Vacation Diary

Hello, everyone.

I am feeling slightly better now. Two days after I got my wisdom tooth pulled out and the pain is almost gone. Just a slight discomfort because of the swollen cheek. But anyway, today I am sharing with you my Shenzhen Vacation Diary.

We head to Shenzhen in a bus from Hong Kong and arrived at dinner time. After dinner and hotel check in, we went to Luohu Commercial City which is a mall. I wouldnt recommend going there since I didn't shop anything. The items are too old school, something that your granny would wear. There were good choices of fake branded bags, which I had no interest in. But anyway, the next day was a city tour for one day only and it was on day four. Read my day 1 to 3 vacation diary here.

DAY FOUR

Second stop that day (after we visited a Chinese medicine store) was Window of The World where you can see miniatures of famous landmarks in this earth. I went here a couple years back when I was still in junior high school and it was not this pretty. Now, I would definitely recommend people to visit and take touristy pics. Entrance fee is CNY200. More info about ticketing and how to get there, you can visit Travel China Guide here.

Since we were crunched in time, we decided to take this adorable train which will show you around the whole complex in a very convenient way. The weather was hot as well so riding a train seems logical. There's an extra fee to ride this train. They stopped at 3 spots : Italy for Pisa Tower and Cathedral, USA for Niagara Falls, and Egypt for Pyramids and Sphinx.

You can ride a camel here and get a nice pic. Extra fee charged.

After lunch we head straight to China Folk Culture Village to watch two shows. One at 5PM and the other at 7PM. The first show talk about China's vast tribes while the second show is more about China's culture throughout the years. I like the second show better since it has more exciting stuffs such as real life horses, laser lights, and fireworks. It would have been nicer if there's an English subtitle somewhere. More info about China Folk Culture Village here.

So yeah that's pretty much it. After dinner we went back to the hotel and some went back to Luohu  while others just finish up packing since we're going to Macau the next day. More about that on my next post :)

Wishing everyone a good midweek.
