My Hair Care Routine

Hi, guys!
I am going to Hong Kong tomorrow (follow my instagram @steviamaria for updates!) so this is a scheduled post actually because I am busy packing when you're reading this post. But I want to share with you my hair care routine. These products are (almost all) tested and true and not sponsored at all. I bought all products by myself, some I have been using for as long as I can remember, some I have only used in the past 3 months or so.

First up is this little guy that have been raved by all beauty bloggers because of its capability to make any hair in your body grows faster, healthier, and reduced hair fall (the main reason why I want to try it). Now, I have only used this castor oil once since I just got it last weekend. Basically you just use a coin-sized amount and rub it all over your hair roots and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes, then you just wash your hair like you usually do. I don't mind the oily feel but the smell is NOT good. I don't know, I'm just not crazy about the smell but I have made up my mind to give this one whole bottle a good run before I made my decisions. So far, the reviews are all good!

This Makarizo Hair Energy Shampoo is quite new for me. I've almost finished this bottle and so far so good! I love the fact that this is a conditioning shampoo so I can just skip conditioner to save time. I loooove the smell. Who knows melon and aloe would smell so good? I noticed my hair gets it's shine back but the hair fall is still pretty much the same even thought the brand claim that this is an anti-hair fall shampoo. I do noticed that my hair is less greasier when I don't wash it. I usually get greasy after just one day but I can survived two days of not washing my hair now with this shampoo.

If you read my October Favourites post, you'll already know how much I love this hair mask so I won't repeating myself, you can just read all about it there. I use this once a week and noticed the difference almost immediately.

I usually air dry my hair but on the days when I'm in a rush, I used Hymess Ion Therapy Hair Dryer (not pictured because I'm forgetful like that). When my hair is fully dry, I like to bring a little order to my unruly mane, using a hair straightener. Before putting heat to my hair, I make sure I protect those precious strands with Rene Furterer Paris Lissea 220 degree Celsius protection spray. It is quite expensive but considering I always use a hair straightener every time I style my hair, it's an investment really. This is my 3rd or 4th bottle, I think? One bottle lasts about a three months on me.

You can say, this is my hair straightener' holy grail. It's Panasonic Multi-Styling Straightener. You can straighten, volumized, and curl your hair. You can even choose a small curl, medium curl, or large curl. It's a ceramic straightener so it doesn't dry out your hair. This one is also quite expensive, but then again, I'd like to think of this as an investment.

Last step! I don't use hairspray that often but when I curl my hair, I jut have to use a hairspray otherwise the curl will be gone in about two hours. This guy helps keeping those curls alive and well for a good four to five hours ( I have very fine strands so curls doesn't stand that long on me). I usually get the extra strong but that one sold out the last time I restocked so this one is not bad!

If you have the same problem like I do where curls just don't hold up for the amount of time that we want, well, why don't you try out a wig? The website www.cocowig.com provides a wide array of wigs for you to choose. Now, don't be afraid to try something new! Famous vloggers Jacklyn Hill has a great collection of wigs, why can't you? I personally need curly wigs like this 22 Inches Curly Capless 120% Synthetic Hair for special occasions. Not the right colour or style for you? Fear not, you can browse around https://www.cocowig.com/curly-wigs-c120886/ for more options.

Before we end this post, I have to give a shout out to this ah-mazing dry shampoo. Best dry shampoo ever.. My boyfriend actually introduced this dry shampoo to me. Such a life saver for days you just don't have time to wash your hair. My greasy hair is gone within seconds and my hair is actually softer as soon as the powder seeps in.

Well, wishing everyone a great midweek!
