As promised, the make up and hair I wore on my red dress look in the last post. I mentioned in the last post that I go all out including falsies. This is not a tutorial tho, just to give you some idea on what kinda make up you'd want to wear for Christmas.
On my face :
Primer : Benefit Matte Rescue Porefessional
Foundation : Borjouis Healthy Mix in No. 52
Concealer : Tarte Shape Tape (light neutral) for first layer; Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer(in custard) for my freckles
Setting powder : Coty Airspun Loose Powder
Eyebrow : The Face Shop Designing Eyebrow Pencil in 03
Eyeshadow : Chanel in Tisse Rivoli
Eyeliner : Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner
Mascara : Benefit Roller Lash
Contour : Tarte Clay Play Shaping Palette. On cheekbone & jaw : Desert first then blend with Terracotta. Desert only for nose contour. Used Sand for under eye & nose bridge.
Highlight : Becca "Opal"
Blush : Tarte in Exposed
Lip : MAC Lipliner "Kiss Me Quick" & ColourPop "Trust Me"
Setting Spray : Urban Decay "All Nighter"
Chanel in Tisse Rivoli is one of my favourite eyeshadows since they quarto colours are all neutral but it has a subtle shine which is perfect for a holiday look. You can mix and match any of those four colours anyway you want and it'll still turned out great. I use the top left for crease, deepen the outer v with bottom right, and use bottom left for all over the lid. I use a tiny bit of Becca "Opal" for inner corner.
I basically do everything else I usually do for a special night out except maybe for the falsies. I never missed a chance to rock a red lip and I feel that this colour surely will get you in a holly jolly mood. Other red lip colours I like including MAC Studded Kiss which is darker. I was going to wear my all time favourite bright red lipstick which is MAC Ruby Woo but Trust Me by ColourPop would be something I'd recommend to my fellow budget friendly red lip lovers.
