I visited The White Clover located at Dr. Cipto about a month ago despite plenty of friends had a bad experience there. What can I say? I'm drawn to their beautiful interior design. I love American Classic style in a building. It's a mix of French flair as well, IMHO. Forgive me if I'm wrong, I'm no interior designer. Just an enthusiast.
But anyway, we went there on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't as full as I thought it would be. I expected a wait list since it is the new it place in town. However, there is a room booked for a birthday luncheon so the parking space was packed.

I have nothing bad to say about their interior design. It's such a breath of fresh air after all those industrial coffee shop type. Two of my friends had bad experience here, as with food and drinks come out way too long, the food was bad, and the service was awful. I had none of that tho. Our waiter/waitress was cordial, altho not that friendly, food and drinks come out fast enough. No mix up order either. I guess it depends whether it was a full house or not.

Needless to say, we went there for the atmosphere, not the food. My spaghetti was okay, nothing special. My husband' fried rice was also okay, he tastes better fried rice for sure. Our mojito was pretty good tho. Price wise, I don't think it's outrageous. Definitely still in the normal price range.
I don't think my husband and I will come back unless there's a birthday invitation or something. We love our food just a bit too much. LOL. I definitely would recommend people to come and enjoy the nice atmosphere tho. I included the menu below.
