I mentioned this bag on my previous post and no kidding, rattan bag is the hottest accessory this summer. It does have other names such as straw or wicker bags. But no matter what you called it, this type of bag is fun and brings a youthful vibe to your outfit. I spotted so many bloggers and celebgram sporting rattan bags and who can blame them? This type of bag instantly brings summer to you and so versatile you can dress it up or down like I did with these two outfits below.
Rattan bags are a classic summer accessory that goes with all kinds of outfit.
For the first outfit, I went casual with a tied shirt and highwaist pants. I am obsessed with this pineapple shirt that I got from Bangkok. This one is literally wash, dry, and wear again. My rattan bag complements the combo perfectly. You can go for a barbecue or just catch up with your friends over iced coffee looking very summery. Don't forget to add tinted sunnies (another big trend this summer) to complete your look.
For the second look, I imagined someone going on a first date or celebrating some sort of anniversary, might even be a July wedding. This pastel peachy dress is a dream and all I want to do is twirl around with its floaty fabric. As you can see, the structure from my rattan bag still gives that polished vibe so you can definitely wear it to a slightly dressier event in the summer.
