Sona Table KBP Bandung

Hi, everyone.

Went to Sona Table at Kota Baru Parahyangan Bandung for a lunch date. Sona Table KBP Bandung is a recently opened casual Italian restaurant right inside Hejo Mall Kota Baru Parahyangan. We went to Sona Table KBP Bandung on a Friday so we got to our table right away.

First impression of Sona Table KBP Bandung is aesthetic all right, with their warm wood tones and use of textures with their tiles and stone wall.

The layout is open which created a spacious and airy vibe while soft lighting and subtle greenery add a relaxed, lived-in feel.

For drinks, we ordered Green Pinneaple Fizzy (Rp 45k) and it was energizing with a nice balance of sweet and sour plus that refreshing zing at the end.

I ordered Chicken & Butter Capellini. I know it’s controversial but I actually love angel hair pasta. The pasta was perfectly al dente and it was so so buttery I was in a butter heaven. The chicken was nice and tender but could use more seasoning in my opinion but I do love that Sona Table KBP Bandung is generous with the chicken. Overall, love!

Husband ordered Salsiccia pizza. It’s a pizza with house beef sausage, smoked capsicum, and chili tomato cream. Again, it was so cheesy I was in cheese heaven. But the paprika really balances all the cheese. The sausage tastes clean and it was good but nothing special. I do love the dough, I don’t usually eat crust but I actually enjoyed eating the crust this time. It was chewy and crunchy at the same time. 

So fun!

For dessert, we just have to ordered their tiramisu. This one has alcohol and we finished it in like 5 minutes cause it was THAT good. A must have dare I say.

Sona Table KBP Bandung signature dish is actually their spit roasted chicken. I guess that would be nice to share for a group but since there’s only two of us, we decided to try two different dish than just one menu.

Overall we had a nice time and would def recommend if you’re in the area. Service was 10/10. Our waitress Ella was very informative and not only has decent product knowledge, but also great at recommending menu. Food and drinks come out fast enough. About 10 mins for drink and 25 mins for food.
