Christmas is just around the corner. In two weeks we will celebrate Christmas so I thought I’d share with you a few Christmas outfit ideas for 2024. Last year Christmas Outfit Ideas I was really focused on lady jacket but this year apparently I really lean towards cardigans for Christmas outfit ideas 2024.
Anyway, without further ado, here are 6 Christmas Outfit Ideas for 2024.
Starting out with my favorite look from all 6 Christmas Outfit Ideas, it’s a black and white dress. I added the three ribbon pins to make the outfit more festive.
Second outfit is pretty simple!
A green cardigan with a pleated mini skirt.
A playful look perfect for casual outings.
Third look is my 2nd favorite outfit with the burgundy midi skirt. It’s a very demure look perfect for church or office setting.
Fourth look is something I put on for strolling around the Christmas decor stores. Would be great for Christmas shopping with the comfy red flats.
Fifth look is the only outfit with a lady jacket. Unlike last year where I wore three (LOL).
I really love the red & green color together. Super festive
Last look is another cardigan. I love the plaid skirt. Perfect pattern for this holiday season. I paired the skirt with a simple and cozy white cardigan.

I am indeed still alive. I apologize for neglecting this blog for so long (has it already been more than 2 months since I last posted anything?). But here I am back with Christmas Outfit Ideas 2023. This year, I am leaning more towards more preppy more elegant outfits. So this time for Christmas Outfit Ideas, there is no casual outfit. And I only have one outfit with pants. Like I said, this year Christmas Outfit Ideas 2023 is more elegant. Without further ado, here are five outfits I have been wearing to welcome the festive month.

Valentine's Day is just around the corner so without further ado, here are some Valentine's Day Outfit Ideas for you. Do keep in mind while I do love red for V-Day, I feel like I overused reds for Christmas and then Lunar New Year, so I almost always wear pink for Valentine's Day Outfit Ideas.
First up is a cozy cardigan. Originally I was going to use a lace tank top underneath but feels a bit much for day time. I just might paired that lace tank top with a pink blazer for the actual Valentine's Day,
I adore the heart pink and the heart shaped buttons.
A very cute little detail that makes the outfit feel more romantic.
Second outfit is my oldie but goodie little pink dress. I love the collar and bow detailing.
Those two details give the pink dress a cute and youthful feel.
Paired it with my fave hair accessories, a headband for a tiny bit of Blair Waldorf flair.
Last outfit is a more casual take of Valentine's Day Outfit Ideas.
Great for festivals or a weekend market or theme parks.

Lunar New Year is just around the corner so here I listed patterns to wear for Lunar New Year. While solid is always a safe option, wearing patterns for Lunar New Year is so much more fun and it also hides a lot of flaws like wrinkles on your clothes; it can also help distract people from the shape of your body so you don't get 'eh, you got fatter?' questions from noisy aunties.
First up is floral. It is a no brainer for Chinese/Lunar New Year. Since Chinese New Year usually symbolizes the end of winter, flower resembles new beginnings and so wearing floral will definitely gives you plus points from your mom and aunties.
Second is Toile or Chinoiserie. What is the difference? Honestly I'm not sure but Google said toile is a fabric that originates in France and which pattern depicts a scene (e.g. a landscape that often involves figures); chinoiserie is similar but has a decidedly Asian (specifically Chinese) flare - patterns of which are usually consists of pavilions, birds, and floral motifs.
For reference, my blue dress is categorized as Toile while my red blouse is categorized as Chinoiserie.
Last but surely not least is the no fail batik pattern. I live in Indonesia so it is very common to have cheongsams in batik pattern. Batik is an Indonesian technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to a cloth. Batik is originated from the island of Java, Indonesia. Batik is made either by drawing dots and lines of the resist with a spouted tool called canting, or by printing the resist with a copper stamp called a cap. I personally love wearing my CNY outfit in batik pattern. It is such a beautiful way to blend both of my identity as an Indonesian Chinese.

It’s been a minute. Today I want to share some Christmas outfit ideas 2022. Where I live, we don’t have any snow and weather is pretty much in the 20 Celcius degrees so my outfits are usually pretty simple with not much layer.
First look is a dressy soft green dress with oversized collar creating a modest look with the midi length. I personally love the collar. Added a headband to trick people I put effort on my hair.
The second look is a simple cozy outfit but still festive with the red cardigan and red lip. My red heels helps to make this outfit more dressy. For an even more casual feel, you can opt for white sneakers. Perfect outfit for gift hunting.
Third outfit is something very dressy. It can even pass as evening attire and I did wore this to a friend’s wedding. A white dress is a no-fail option for Christmas. It looks good on everyone from little kids to grandmothers. Always an elegant choice for those fancy parties.
I decided for an all white look with my bag & shoes but added a gold belt for a focal point.
Last outfit is basically the same as the second outfit. Just switched the cardigan and shoes. Different t-shirt too but it’s basically a white t-shirt just like the 2nd outfit. And yes I did brought around a reindeer headband just to take pics. It’s lightweight, not too big, and make your outfit looks more Christmas-y without looking too much like a Santa hat. Would def recommend a reindeer headband.
And those are pretty much it. I hope you enjoyed the Christmas-y pics and the outfits too. I do find a good festive cardigan can really make a basic outfit like jeans and tee look Christmas ready AND keeps you warm enough.
