Hi, everyone.
Dad sandals have been trending for a while; since 2019. But back then, dad sandals trend was pretty new and I was hesitant to try eventho I already own a Birkenstock. However, this 2022 dad sandals trend is coming back even stronger than before so I decided to give it a try and style two looks with dad sandals for summer.
Hi, everyone.
Today's post is a trend alert about kelly green color. It is a color that has been in my radar since last fall and the general public has finally caught up with the trend. I see lots of local brands also jumping in to this kelly green color trend. It is actually more like a true green, in my opinion, but since Hermes Kelly bag is famous for its green color, therefore the name.
Here in my country, people seems to favor green with neutral colors so I do just that. Pairing green with neutrals such as black and all white. I don't see a lot of people do color blocking but that can be fun too. Especially green with fuchsia or green with violet.
Fanny pack, belt bag, whatever you call it, you know this old retro style bag is coming back. We first saw them running around about a year ago exclusively on the biggest most stylish bloggers but now even mere mortals like us starts buying this type of bag.
Now I do confess, it's one of the trend that I wasn't sure going to be picked up. I mean, matching suits are great and all, but it's not that wearable for us normal people who likes to be casual and comfortable. However, this belt bag, due to its casual and yet now-renounced-as-stylish quality, is being picked up and mass produced by stores like Zara and Forever21, they are coming up with this style of bag.
If you're thinking about buying it, you might want to read the entire post first before you click that add to cart button.
Hi, guys!
I mentioned this bag on my previous post and no kidding, rattan bag is the hottest accessory this summer. It does have other names such as straw or wicker bags. But no matter what you called it, this type of bag is fun and brings a youthful vibe to your outfit. I spotted so many bloggers and celebgram sporting rattan bags and who can blame them? This type of bag instantly brings summer to you and so versatile you can dress it up or down like I did with these two outfits below.

Hi, guys!
The 90s are all the rage with culottes start to be a normal day to day pants once more. Now, we are graced with the comeback of chokers. It has been here for a while and I think fall will be the peak of this choker trend. I still remember the days when I was obsessed with Lizzie McGuire and she rocked chokers like no other. From plastic, lace, to the bedazzled ones, there's no choker Lizzie fear to wear. Obviously, let's steer clear from looking like a blast from the past and donned a more trendy chokers.
Black is always a safe choice and I kinda channeling cowboy/ranger style with the tied up chokers. The effortless way to wear your choker is to wear something that has low neckline, from v-neck to an off shoulder, the choice is yours. Your top doesn't have to be black, but if you're aiming for the "too cool for trends", definitely put on a black top + chokers = I'm cool without trying. Add a bold lipstick and you're all set.
What do you think of this trend? Will you wear chokers?

Yes this culottes pants are still trending! I'm trying the midi one after my first taste with the short version (read it
here) and I am loving it. This kind of pants have those vintage flair but still feel sophisticated and current at the same time. I like pairing this pants with crop top somehow. I guess it's to make sure that you'll have a defined waist making it look balance with the loose and wide at the bottom.
This culottes trend is very exciting to try! I wasn't sure if I'm going to pull it off or not but then again, as I always do with other trend, I just try them on and took some photos. I don't look so bad, right?
Granted, these kind of shorts are not the most flattering type so here are a few tips to keep in mind. One, make sure you wear heels! Two, just keep it simple. Black culottes are the best bet since it looks a lot like a skirt in most photos. Three, if you're a shortie like me (I'm 156 cm or 5 foot 2) choose the shorter version because the long/midi version is just going to drown you and make your bottom half looks bigger than it really is.
Yeay a fashion update at last!
Honestly these pictures belong to my store's lookbook. I still haven't find the spirit to get to my camera and tripod out just yet but this one will do, right?
Everything cape has been a big hit here in Indonesia. I love how it exudes elegance and mystery in the same time. The blazer version is so much more versatile hence it's not too strange that I own two of them already, black and white color. I will try to shoot an outfit with them soon :)
The blouse/top version is so much affordable although it's not as "cool" as the blazer, in my opinion. But it does retain the similar fancy and polished atmosphere.
