Tebing Keraton, Bandung

Went to Tebing Keraton last weekend. It was quite a ride to get there so make sure your car's tire is fully equipped! Also, I will suggest to go in the summer and avoid rainy days because when the path (which is pure soil with a little grass here and there) is wet, it gets super slippery! Hence, make sure to wear suitable gear as well. I guess jeans and sporty shoes will be your best option.

We get there around 7 AM and after a little bit of stumbling and falling we made it to the edge, I guess it was round 7.30 AM. It took that long because the soil were so slippery that we can only take one step at a time. But if the ground is dry, you should be able to reach the edge in less than 10 minutes. Luckily for us, it was a cloudy morning so the mist was still there creating a lovely dreamy view.

Can you spot the edge on the far right below?
This one is taken halfway there from the entrance.
Ticket fee is 11 thousand rupiah per person.

So I have been informed that the fences are new. The rock that you often see are on the other side of this fence. You can climb with ropes but I won't suggest it because there are very high chances you will fall. There are no safety nets around. Besides, the view are the same from the safety inside of the fences :)

There is only the breathtaking view and fresh air up there so don't expect anything like a cafe.
It's a pure outdoor spot and that all there is to it.

Happy midweek!
