Hi, everyone.
October is here and the weather finally starts cooling down so I thought it would be nice to share what to wear for early fall. Here are some fits I have been wearing lately when the weather allows (cause sometimes the weather gets hot again for a day or two and then back to chilly weather).
1. Burgundy Bag
We all love the white and black outfit especially for cooler month. What a better way to add a little color to your monochrome fit other than a burgundy leather bag? The color is classy and just so very fall. I saw this color everywhere in stores. I bought this one from Stradivarius and the quality is not bad at all for the price.
2. Check, Please
Plaid for fall? Groundbreaking, I know. Just like floral prints for spring, I appreciate classics in general. There is a reason they are a classic after all. They are just foolproof and acceptable for all ages. This fall tho, I prefer monochromatic colors compared to other fall colors.
3. Shirt with a twist
When the weather is too hot for a sweater but too cold for a short sleeve, I always go for a shirt.
To add that fall vibes, go with again, a burgundy/maroon or any other fall colors like mustard or even olive green. And of course; this year I have been loving this kinda of shirt. This one has a tie in the back but you can def DIY your own regular shirt to look like this. Just secure a safety pin on the sides of your shirt and add a ribbon of some sort et voila.
4. The Bubble Trend
We have been seeing an increase of bubble hem since early this year so I feel like fall is the perfect time to try this trend. While this puffy trend can be very playful, opt for neutral color like black or white and paired your top with classic piece as well like I did with this striped cardigan for a less juvenile look.
5. Sweater Vest
While cardigan gives grandma vibes, sweater vest is giving chic grandpa and I’m all for that grandpa vibe.
Paired with shirt, a sweater vest gives off that academia look which also a type of aesthetic that I like.
For a less academic feel, pair your sweater vest with your fave plain t-shirt.
6. Lady Jacket
Continuing from last year, this elegant outer will continue to appear this year thanks to its classic cut and timeless silhouette. I love how a lady jacket just instantly gives you that old money vibe.
And that is all for what to wear for early fall.
Now I’m off to find some pumpkin spice latte.
