Sultan Agung Resto Bandung

Hi, everyone.

Went to Sultan Agung Resto Bandung about two weeks ago. Sultan Agung Resto Bandung is quite new and it took off pretty quickly, being famous for this particular wall and their affordable price. We went there for lunch on a Friday so naturally the place was packed. There was a waiting list but it was only 2 other people so we got our table in about 10 minutes which really isn't bad at all considering how full the place is. 

There is a private room that I'm sure you can book ahead altho I'm not sure about the minimum purchase.

I don't really have any nice pics to be honest since place was really full and I felt bad taking too many pics while people were eating.

I got Dutch Steak with Dijon Cream Sauce served with Patat Fries (Rp 95k).

It is an 180gr Angus striploin topped with garlic butter and served with dijon cram sauce and housemade thick cut fries.

I like this! For the price, you get a really good deal and for me 180gr is decent, I usually get 200gr but you barely miss the 20gr. I do hope they would give more fries.

Husband got Mapo Tofu (Rp 25k) and he loves it.

It doesn't come with rice so you do have to order extra.

I tried to resist but I ended up ordering their Dutch Baby Pancakes (Rp 19k).

It is an oven baked pancake served with whipped cream and homemade strawberry jam.

Again, for the price, you cannot beat it. It's tasty enough; the jam is a perfect balance of sweet and sour. I also quite like the cream mixed with the strawberry jam.

Peach Iced Tea (Rp 19k).

It tastes just like every other peach iced tea.

Husband got Green Sultan (Rp 19k).

It is a mango based, tropical fruit punch, with sparkling water. Again, he approved.

What I think is a nice touch is Sultan Agung Resto provided a shaded space for people to wait for their tables. Which is wise since apparently unless you book ahead, you are bound to be waitlisted before getting a table.

Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would definitely come back when the hype has died down or maybe just book ahead.
