June Favourites

Hi, guys!
Apologies for posting almost a week late. Work has been crazy this past month, not to mention adjusting to a new routine with le husband. But anyway, here are a few of my favourite things in the month of June.

Got this Tom Ford lipstick in Pussycat and worn it most of the time I was in Bangkok. As you can see, the TF engraving on the lipstick is all gone, that's how much I've worn it. I love love love the luxurious packaging. The pinky plum shade is perfect for both day and night.

Now, I'm all about floral scent but I though I shake things up and this Nina Ricci Nina L'Elixir Eau De Perfume seems perfect with its super adorable apple shape bottle. The base note smells heavenly, not too fruity, definitely on the sweet side tho. I can't stop wearing this ever since I got it. It lasts a good amount of time on my skin too, about eight hours before it fades away.

I do love my Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray but this Skindinavia Oil Control Spray is everything. I have oily T-zone and normal everywhere else. I noticed that I can get away with only blotting once for a whole day without looking oily. It claims to control shine for 16 hours but I have only tested it for 12 hours and very happy with the results. So far it doesn't break me out. Been using it for a month every other day (I mix it with my Urban Decay every other day). Definitely recommended for oily skin.

Four years ago when a really good friend of mine got married, I noticed that she was wearing this gorgeous heels and it turns out to be Badgley Mischka's. Quickly I did my research and set my heart to wear this brand on my wedding day. Fast forward to last month, I fulfill my own promise and I know it sounds silly since no one can see my shoes under my wedding dress, but wearing these beautiful heels just make happy. I do suggest to go a size down like I did because it stretches after a few hours of wear. Glad the SA convinced me to choose smaller size! It's not the easiest to walk in tho, so people who doesn't wear heels often might have problem. I do wear heels every weekend so it was pretty natural for me. Still, my feet hurts after a whole day wearing it.

I have been a fan of Lang Leav poetry book so when I heard she published a novel, without a single doubt I purchased it right away. Sad Girls does deal with negative topics, such as suicide, drug abuse, murder, and even justification of a murder. So yeah, I guess it's not an ideal book for impressionable teenagers. However, I do like her style of writing which some people called obnoxious and redundant. I mean, how many times can a writer use the word "shrugged" in a book? Obviously, she had to come up with a different way to say it. I would've give it a four out of five. The twist at the end was unexpected.

Went to Bangkok two weeks ago and definitely a highlight of June in my book. You can watch our adventure in Bangkok in this video above. It's 18 minutes long so grab a snack and get in a comfy position. I am planning to do a blog post about Santorini Park and Dog in Town Cafe since it's the most asked places when I uploaded my IG stories. Do stay tuned :)

The peak of June is hands down, without a doubt, my wedding day. You can watch the same day edit where the videographer gives you snippets of my wedding combined with a previously recorded session months before the day. This one is only 4 minutes long.

Anyway, June has been life-changing and the most challenging as well. Working in a service business with Ramadan holiday (busiest time of the year for us) in the same month of my wedding, has been very trying. I'm still very much amazed and grateful I haven't been admitted to the hospital yet. LOL. Thankfully work is slowing down this week and I can feel my health is getting better.

Wishing everyone a great week ahead!
