Can't believe it's been thirty one days already since New Year's Eve. Honestly, I feel like this month flew by just like that. I need more than 24 hours/ day in the next couple of months. And yes, I am also very proud that I finally posted a favorite post on schedule! Without further ado, these are a few of my favorite things in January.
I got this mascara for free from a dear friend and my goodness, I LOVE IT. My favorite mascara before this was Benefit Roller Lash but this one just booted Roller Lash down to second spot. This one indeed a travel size and I plan to buy a full size when this one ran out. It really lifts my lashes and unlike Roller Lash, I can do two or three layers with zero clumps. It lasts forever too.
I promise you I'm not sponsored by MAC in any way (I posted 2 favorite red lipstick from MAC for my December Favorites) but they are killing it with their matte lipstick and this one is no exception. Kinda Sexy is a peachy nude shade and yet it gives such pretty colour to my overall face. It's my go to everyday shade and I love pairing this lipstick with Benefit Coralista blush.
This one is a Christmas present from my fiancee and all the buzz was definitely proven. I have been wanting to try Patina in a while and that color doesn't disappoint! It looks gorgeous on all skin tone as well. They stand against food and drinks very well and not drying at all. My second favorite is Bacca (far right) and I don't care much about the glittery topper since it's way out of my comfort zone.
I really want to love this (don't get me wrong, I like it) but NARS radiant creamy concealer still holds number 1 spot for my favorite concealer ever. I don't find the coverage is as awesome as NARS'. Maybe I just picked the wrong shade? And I absolutely love the scent too. I don't know, it's just not as good as I expected. I did wore this all January long just to make sure I played around with it before giving my final verdict.
This foundation is everything. I had Ultra HD from MakeUp Forever and it's my favorite for a while but I purchased that when I had a tan so now that shade is too dark for me. So I decided to try this foundation since I was looking for a full coverage one and this guy delivered! I got asked a couple times what powder I used overtime I wore this foundation. It has great oil control which is a big plus for me! Not sure if it will last all night long tho... I did worn this for about 12 hour-ish and everything still looks in place at the end of the day.
I'm not even sure where to begin about this totally cool book. The sole reason I bought this is because I love Anna Kendrick' tweets and I thought "hmm.. I think I'll like her book!" and I was right. It was love at the first chapter. This book is an autobiography and a very funny one indeed. My favorite chapter is definitely the "Hollywood" chapter. Although her chapter about "Boys" is a close contender. If you like self-deprecating witty jokes, this book is for you!
Sherlock Season 4 was a rollercoaster ride. And I'm not going to post any spoiler here but prepare lots of tissues. I did wait until the whole three episodes aired and then binge watch everything in one day. So much feels, I can't even... But anyway, this scene is one of my favorite :) Johnlock are so cute.
