Apologies for missing Friday post, I got a stomach flu last Thursday and still recovering. But I'll save you from the gross details and go straight to business! Changing your lip colour is the easiest way to stay updated in the trend of make up. I didn't watch that much fashion week so these three lip colours that I chose are strictly personal preference.
-Burnt Orange-
This colour is only for the braveheart because it's very bold but not, like, too crazy and it's soo perfect for fall. I love the idea of burnt orange against jade and browns, it's just screams fall to me. This particular shade I'm wearing is from OFRA Liquid Lipstick in Miami Fever. You can fill in your lip with any kind of nude lip liner really since it is a unique colour. I didn't use any lip liner tho, cause I'm a rebel like that.
-Dark Plum-
This one is my favourite because it's dramatic but very safe at the same time. This "emo" purple shade looks gorgeous against black or grey or even mustard which I'm sure we all will be donning this time of the year. I really like how romantic this colour is; which is kind of surprising but I can totally imagine this for a dinner date look. The one I'm wearing is Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in Tulle.
-Nude Brown-
Last but surely not least, you gotta have a nude brown lip colour to complete your collection. Since it's nude and brown, it goes with, well, pretty much ANYTHING. Hence, it's the most must have of all. This one I'm wearing is from Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in 1993. Love the formula. So creamy and moisturising. I have Colourpop in Point Zero as well but prefer this since this one has warmer tone.
I also need to mention oxblood ; because it's not fall until you put on that deep dark red lip colour! I love MAC in Studded Kiss. I found them to look exactly like an oxblood on me. I have Kylie Lip Kit in Leo and it looks almost like black on my lip; way too vampy for my taste.
