It’s been a minute but I am back with a new post from Jalajiva Bandung. Jalajiva is a recently opened coffee shop located at Jalan Setiabudi Bandung. I have to say, Jalajiva does have a theme and they sure stick to it vey well. It seems to me Jalajiva chose the orange rooftop (genteng oren) that is very much Indonesia core and Jalajiva is really committed to it. As you can see in photo above, even the pathway is made from the crushed orange rooftop.
This is their indoor area. I would say the indoor is medium sized. Not big but not too small either. I feel like a group of 6 to 8 can still sit comfortably. But definitely no more than that.
And as evident here, they continued the orange rooftop theme to the extent of actually replicating it inside. I must say, this has become the new hotspot for picture taking.
Next to the cashier, Jalajiva have a few selection of pastries.
Even the table number is in a shape of an orange rooftop.
I gotta say, I respect their commitment.
Butterscotch Latte IDR 32k.
This was yummy! A little bit watery but taste wise I actually enjoyed it. Buttery and creamy indeed.
I also ordered Beef Teriyaki (IDR 46k).
Price wise I feel like it is decently priced. Portion is generous for the beef! I think even yoshinoya gave less beef slices and the beef is actually tender and melt in your mouth. But tbh the seasoning was too much. Too salty for me. Still very much edible tho. Just need lots of water while eating.
Husband ordered Ayam Betutu (IDR 42k).
Again, price and portion wise is decent. It tastes okay. Nothing special.
The outdoor area. Also, make sure to check the weather before coming here. From the orange alley, there is zero shade to walk to the indoor building.

Anyway, we had a nice time. And since it’s so close to our house and we basically passed it every week when we buy our groceries, we just might come back. This pics are actually before we went to get our weekly groceries. We decided to stopped by since it was on the way.
