Hi, everyone.
Went to Gaya Brasserie Bandung last week. Gaya Brasserie Bandung opened early last year and I finally got a chance to visit Gaya Brasserie Bandung.
Gaya Brasserie Bandung is a restaurant that has a Dutch-colonial architecture combines with modern touches. Gaya Brasserie Bandung interior features rattan chairs, wooden accents, vintage lounge spaces, vinyl shelves and yellow tone lighting creating a warm atmosphere.
Place is quite spacious and overall I do love how they matches the interior with the exterior. It’s nice but not overly lavish with that hint of casual cozyness that invites you in.
Gaya Brasserie Bandung offers polished Western and Nusantara dishes. We ordered fish burger and Mr. Robinson (beef steak with butter garlic rice and your choice of sambal).
Mr. Robinson (Rp 58k) is a rice dish with beef steak on top with two sides of veggies and omelette. You can choose your sambal, I chose sambal matah and they go surprisingly well with all the components of this dish.
I find Mr. Robinson to be very much worth the price tag for not only quality taste, but also the portion.
The fish burger was small but not bad considering the Rp 38k price. I’d say it’s more like a kids menu with the small portion. You do get a lot of carbs with the fries tho.
Their Green Lantern Juice was delicious too.
In general, we had a nice time and since the place wasn’t crowded, the food and drinks come out fast.
Parking is spacious too.
Would def recommend Gaya Brasserie Bandung for your next weekend.
