My Favorite Spring Perfumes

Hi, everyone.
Spring is in the air and it's the perfect time to bring out your flowery perfumes. I find spring to be my favorite season to wear perfumes since the weather is not too cold where scents are just gone and it's not too hot where scents are amplified tenfold because of the heat. Flowery scent is also my favorite type hence I do have quite a collection of perfumes that are very spring.

First up is Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. I had one a few years ago and recently repurchased it. If you only want one perfume, I highly recommend this one! Altho my all time fave perfume is Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, this Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet is tough to beat.
It's very feminine, romantic, and slightly lighter than Mademoiselle. Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet is very flowery and not too sweet. I find the scent is not offensive which is perfect for all occasion.  It does kinda disappear when you wear it in colder weather. I find something stronger and musky is more suitable for cold season.

For longevity, I find this to be good enough. Maybe 3-4 hours on me? It is an eau de toilette so I can't really compare it to Mademoiselle, which is an eau de parfum. I do find spraying it on my clothes lasts so much longer. If I spray it on my jacket, I can still smell it perfectly the next day.

Second scent is Daisy Marc Jacobs. I have been using this one since my uni days and I keep repurchasing again and again. Daisy Marc Jacobs is definitely more girly rather than feminine. It's not too teenager-y but not quite a woman-y scent either. This scent is also very flowery; obviously. And it's also not offensive, being very fresh and light. Perfect for daytime and office wear.
Packaging wise, this one is really pretty. I honestly would buy it for its packaging alone. Thankfully I love its scent as well.

Daisy Marc Jacobs is another eau de toilette so it doesn't last that long either. My tip is again, to spray some on your clothes. Since fabric doesn't have heat, the perfume doesn't evaporate as fast as if it was on the skin. Do bear mind, you cannot spray alcohol on suede or other delicate fabric.

For my third favorite, it is none other than Twilly D'Hermes. While it's also flowery, it has some spicy-ness to it thanks to the ginger scent. I find this one to be a very nice surprise. My husband bought me a small bottle and at first sniff, I was like "it's too sweet?" but then the middle notes has some real nice smell and I found myself reaching for it again and again until I finished it.

It's definitely stronger than the first two and much sweeter but since it is eau de parfum. It lasts for a good 8 hours on me. I can even still smell it 10 hours later when I don't sweat. Personally, I think this will also smells great in the summer since it's sweeter than the first two.

Next up is the very much hyped Jo Malone English Pear and Freesia. This one has a clean and delicate scent. It does has a hint of sweetness to it thanks to the pear but not overly sweet, you can also still smell the fresh floral scent. Jo Malone English Pear and Freesia is inoffensive and great for daytime as well as office wear. It is a very powdery scent but personally I love powdery. I don't mind creamy scents but powdery seems to fit spring season better.

Jo Malone English Pear and Freesia doesn't last long since it is a cologne. But I do love it for its lightness. It's almost like you just stepped out of a shower. A fresh and natural scent.

Last one is from a local (Indonesian) brand called HMNS. I didn't want to blind buy it eventho I heard great reviews about it. I really do like ORGSM! At first it is very sweet (I almost hate it, LOL) but then the scent flows to something more floral. Essence of the Sun gives a warm feeling (which is not suitable for summer, IMHO) and also very creamy.
For Farhampton, it smells too masculine for me so I gave it to my husband. It kind of remind me to D&G Light Blue? I do love Bergamot. It's such an earthy yet sexy scent to me.

And that is pretty much for my favorite spring perfumes. I do hope you enjoyed this post.
Have you tried any of the perfumes I mentioned?
