Word of The Year 2020

Hi, guys!
Before we officially say hello to the new year, I want to put in one last post about my word(s) of the year of 2020.
Word of the year is basically one word of your choosing which will help and guide you make your decisions in the upcoming year ahead. There are literally hundreds of inspiring words out there (I'll list a few at the end of the post for you to choose!) so how can you choose? Honestly, you can choose as many words as you want but it can be confusing if you choose too many words. Three seems to be ideal.

In my personal experience, the first word just kind of pop up. Last year, I chose growth and faith as my word(s) of the year. And boy o boy was I in for the treat. There were so many circumstances that forces me to grow as a person of my own and also to grow my faith. Throughout all the trials and tears, I was determined to come out as a better person; a person who has learned her lesson. I was also want to be sure that my faith to Jesus will not waver, no matter what happened.

While in 2019 I have grown and kept my faith, I wasn't the most grateful or the most courageous ( like I said, I cried A LOT). I also had so much negative thoughts in my head so for 2020, my word(s) of the year are gratitude, courage, and positivity.

I think gratitude is a word that a lot of people can choose. Like the saying goes; a grateful heart is a magnet for miracles. And Lord knows I need a miracle or two next year.
For the word courage; I have always been a timid little girl and I guess I carried that until now. In the new year, I want to be braver. Not necessarily do a skydive kind of bravery, but in taking more risks and saying yes more to new adventures.
And for the last word, it's a word that actually popped in my head during the last month of 2019. My husband always tell me to think more positively and I really am trying my best to do that. Which is why the last three books I purchased talked just about how thinking positively can help you have a better life; because I believe what you consume (as in what you hear and what you read) is what you think; and what you think, you become.

And as promised, here are some words you can choose to help you guide ring in the new year.
