Hello! It's less than 24 hours before the new year rolls in and I found this blog post from into-mind.com that listed questions to answer in order to help you reflect your 2014. Originally there are 40 questions but I decided to narrow it down. Anyway, I had some sort of ephipany while answering those questions. I did quite a lot this year. And I grow a little bit.. I hope. Bali, Jan 2014

Hello! This time I am guest blogging at Bivi's website. Click HERE for a more complete article. In this post, I'm not going to lecture you about the importance of bringing a copy of your travel documents or to always always stash extra cash, it's more like mantras to keep in mind when you're traveling.

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it! Even if you don't celebrate Christmas, I do hope you enjoy the peaceful ambience of this season. Do remember that a savior is born unto us today over than two thousand years ago. Let's all be grateful and say happy birthday Father Jesus!
Just an outfit I wore for one of my many Christmas celebrations. I always love a good lace top and decided to combine it with a bright red midi skirt. It's only appropriate to wear red in Christmas month! :)

I had SO much fun putting together this outfit at DailyLook.com . I know it looks super simple but it actually took me over an hour to make this set. LOL. I'm not the most savy-tech person and I was confused with the three other LBD contenders. I actually changed the dress twice before I decided to settle with this off shoulder fit and flare dress. I give a blue pop of color because I think red pop is too mainstream while blue is softer but still flashy enough for a nice touch of color.

I like this Cameo dress better than the other three because it's sweet enough for a family/work event but also sexy enough with bare shoulder and cleavage for a club/party/date event. Plus, the fit and flare works for all kind of body type and the v-neckline showcasing your collarbone will make any girl looks slimmer. Click more to see the other 3 contenders!

Yeay a fashion update at last!
Honestly these pictures belong to my store's lookbook. I still haven't find the spirit to get to my camera and tripod out just yet but this one will do, right?

Everything cape has been a big hit here in Indonesia. I love how it exudes elegance and mystery in the same time. The blazer version is so much more versatile hence it's not too strange that I own two of them already, black and white color. I will try to shoot an outfit with them soon :)
The blouse/top version is so much affordable although it's not as "cool" as the blazer, in my opinion. But it does retain the similar fancy and polished atmosphere.

Went to Tebing Keraton last weekend. It was quite a ride to get there so make sure your car's tire is fully equipped! Also, I will suggest to go in the summer and avoid rainy days because when the path (which is pure soil with a little grass here and there) is wet, it gets super slippery! Hence, make sure to wear suitable gear as well. I guess jeans and sporty shoes will be your best option.

So our next stop is Cake A Boo. This place recently opened in the middle of November 2014 so we did feel very hip! LOL. You can easily spot this place thanks to its oh-so-cute exterior. It's on the same row with Locale24.

It's so fluffy I'm gonna die! Of diabetes, most likely...
Visited Shirokuma Japanese Dessert Cafe at Pantai Indah Kapuk, Jakarta with my friends as a short getaway for the weekend. It's an adorable little spot for dessert lover out there. It's quite new, opened in the middle of 2014.

It's always fun when a nice place opened up near my home. It is literally a 10 minutes drive from my house and the plus point is, no traffic jam! Pepper Buns and Coffee opened less than 2 months ago. Obviously they serve hamburgers and coffee but I went there a few days ago and they have new menus of pasta dishes.

Three Bears Cafe (the Korean writing says cafe in English) is the latest hip place in Bandung. Can I just say I am so so happy to live in a city (which is NOW is getting colder, thanks God, I can finally pull out my favorite blazers) where the youth are all amazingly creative and continue to make Bandung a truly pleasant city to live in with so many hang out places to choose from. Okay back to business, this cafe is a fusion of Korean and Japanese food. I love Eastern cuisine to the death and this place actually take it to another level by making those menu with Western twists such as a ramen burger. I do love the interior. It's cute without being too cute while the ambience is warm and inviting.

In case you haven't been on board with watching Scandal, you probably don't know the term “standing in the sun”
It was once a very trendy thing in Scandal. I think everyone can relate about wanting to stand under the sun, both figuratively and in the literal way. The sun seems like a bright hopeful state where everything is clear. Nothing foggy or in grey area for sure. All color seem so vibrant making you excited about life. I will always forever standing in the sun :)

Last weekend me and my sister and a friend decided to went to  Harper's Bazaar Fashion Festival at Jakarta Convention Centre. We went because we thought their seminar sounded interesting. Alas, it wasn't the case. What I thought would be an informative seminar filled with a fashionable power point, turned out to be a talkshow with the guest speakers.. I was definitely not happy about it since we pay a hefty price and we didn't even get any food or a simple glass of water just a goodie bag consisted of old magazines, an old notebook (clearly from a leftover magz' bonuses), and a super pinky beauty case (pretty sure it was a leftover magz' bonuses as well).

Thanks God It's Friday, right? It's weekend at last!
I visited Nanny's Pavillon Home at Jalan R.E. Martadinata in the previous weekend. Nanny's Pavillon first emerged in Bandung around 2009. I remember the garden theme was the first one also located at Jalan R.E. Martadinata. And then library theme at Jalan Setiabudi. No longer after that, barn theme at Istana Plaza Mall. I believed there's a porch theme at Trans Studio Mall. After a few years running, Nanny's Pavillon everywhere starts closing and at April 2014 reopened as one Nanny's Pavillon Home.

It is said to be the MUST DO activity in Dubai. I am not a big fan of anything extreme, but you know, I was there and probably won't be there for another ten years so I decided to just go with the flow. And I did threw up my lunch, which was expected anyway. If you have no idea what a dune bashing looks like click play on the video to get a picture.

Dubai is a relatively young city and it's definitely lives up to expectation in terms of making you go all "wow" thanks to their futuristic architecture and lavish culture. I literally spot a sport car every 5 minutes.  Above is me standing in front of Burj al Arab which is a SEVEN stars hotel built on a man-made island. They made an island 200 meters from the shore line and then built the hotel so we actually have to go across a bridge to get inside.

From Israel, we continue our tour to Jordan to visit its most famous tourist attraction : The Treasury. Standing in front of the tomb also known as Al Khazneh, I cannot help but to feel how small my world is. There are so much more treasures out there waiting for us to give insights about what an amazing place this planet is, in which we have to preserve everything so our grandchildren will have the opportunity to have their own experience with the wonders of the world.

Picture above is Armageddon Valley where the last battle will occur according to book of Revelation. It was such a gorgeous view that I can't even imagine any battle will happen here. Anyway, around 30 photos in this post, so much more friendlier than previous post.

Above is a scenery of Jerusalem, Israel. In the bible, the promised land is a vast area that now is mostly in Israel. But there are more than the Israel official area that is promised by God to be given for Israel nation. To cut the story short, this post and the next post will be glimpses about our 4 days in Israel. There are over than 40 photos so do be patient :)

It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving,
but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living."
 - F. Scott Fitzgerald.

It was also a sunny day in Dubai. Can't believe this was almost a month ago! Been a little busy bee for the past week hence the lack of post. My church has a huge event this November and the hectic buzz is starting now. Not to mention my Instagram store is now a webstore! Go visit www.helostrangers.com (INDONESIA shipping only). A new packaging is also coming up! SO excited for a new chapter of my store. I love providing cute clothes with reasonable price.

Mount Sinai was actually from around midnight of day two to day three but I decided to just put it on day two because we didn't go anywhere except for some well which name I already forget. But do click more for my story of conquering Mount Sinai.

Holyland Tour was lifechanging. You should do it when you have the chance and the opportunity. I'm glad that I'm home with a new spirit in Jesus! You can't really describe every feeling when you visit a place but I do hope these photos will give a little picture. First country was Egypt! Enjoy :)

Have a great midweek, all!

Hello!
So happy to be back with my laptop in front of me and the pillows surrounding me. Anyway, I got home from my Holyland Trip last Thursday. Do bear with me while I sort through all the pictures. Meanwhile, enjoy these pictures from Red Sea, Egypt.

Decked myself in greens for Helo Strangers lookbook shot a month ago. I am so sorry we weren't able to give you a September Collection because of our Israel Holyland trip. But we promise there will be good stuff in our October Collection! Don't forget to follow at @HeloStrangers instagram :)

Have an amazing day!

Just a few outfit photos from my Eurotrip that never been published. Wore this pink sweater with "never stop travelling" written on it. I have to say, once you do travel, there's no cure for it. The sensation of a new place, new atmosphere, new culture, and ofcourse, new experiences.. There's nothing can beat those kind of excitement.

What is that feeling when you're driving away from people and they recede on the plain till you their specks dispersing? -it's the too-huge world vaulting us, and it's good-bye. But we lean forward to the next crazy venture beneath the skies - Jack Kerouac, On the Road

I spotted tartan prints, lots of black, lots of brown, and all sorts of fall shades in stores. I figure I won't be able to wear my summery floral for quite some time so I busted them out before their hiatus.
Anyway, wisihing everyone a good day!

Obviously, since the weather is colder, the skirt naturally become longer, and it is most fortunate for me because I always love modest dressing. I have never been comfortable with short shorts or short skirts which makes this midi skirt glory days some of my favorite fashion moment.

Have a lovely day, all!
top - Helo Strangers, skorts - Cloth Inc, heels - Sachlirene

I have to admit, it's the best trend ever. It definitely has a staying power. Yes, it's not the hottest trend anymore but skorts are so chic and functional, I literally have 5 of them. Do you own any skort?

Off to Israel today! I scheduled four posts ahead so do wait for it. Will be back on 26th :)
Do wish us a safe trip!!!
polkadot blouse - Zara, black sateen skirt - Lolliestories, watch - David Wellington
double zip tote - Prada, red heels - Bellagio

Turning 25  years old today!
It's pretty much like any other day but it is nice to know that you are a silver member of life now. There isn't much to update except for the fact that I am a year older and I am still in a good place. I guess it has a lot to do with my amazing family (thank God for that) and my wonderful friends, I wouldn't be here without them.

I'll keep this post short and sweet. Enjoy your day!

The perfect booster for a Monday blue! Received two packages of home made cookies from Mantequilla. The left one is nastar burger and the right one is choco truffle. Mantequilla also sent samples of cookie monster (with blue sprinkles), cashwenut cookie, and cheese cookies. My favorite is definitely nastar burger! It's their signature cookies and I can see why. It's yummy! Highly recommended You can order via BBM 279C62B2 or via line with line ID elizabethnna or via text on +62813-8028-3975.

Anyway, the giveaway winner is Eva Silviana. Congrats and happy shopping, Silvi! :)
top and skirt - Helo Strangers, ankle-strap sandal - Zara

Just a quick post for you who is enjoying the summer heat because I'm more of snuggling in a blanket with a hot coffee kind of girl. It's getting rainy these days and I guess soon I'd be able to hide under my blankets again every night!
Anyway, you can get the whole look from Helo Strangers instagram! Go to @helostrangers before these items sold out.

Wishing everyone a happy day!
crop top - The Editor's Market, flounce skirt - Cotton On,
necklace - Saint Peter Store, Petit 2Jours bag - Fendi, strappy sandal - Zara

Flounce skirt is a skirt that has tight silhouette from waist to hip and then flare out at the bottom. I only recently joined this trend although this skirt peaked last year. I was hesitant at first mostly because I don't think I will pull it off but as what I always do with new trend, I just go ahead and try once. Ended up liking it when paired with crop top but a tucked in top create bulk so I guess it's one of those skirt that I wore rarely. But no regret! It's always fun to try a new trend.

I have never been a make up kind of girl, I have always been a bags or outers (especially blazers) kind of girl but when the red lips trend rose, I was actually interested and started itching to give it a try. I started out very simple (and cheap) with Oriflame Radiant Red but after starting to get used to it, I upgraded my lipstick to YSL Rouge Pur Couture 01 which is so much brighter than the previous one. It feels soft, buttery, and it lasts so much longer than my Oriflame. It's definitely a keeper.

"-- that's the only purpose grand enough for a human life. Not just to love -- but to persist in love.
She paused. Bees drummed their sound into the air. August retrieved her hands from the pile on my chest, but I left mine there.
"This Mary I'm talking about sits in your heart all day long saying "Lily, you are my everlasting home. Don't you ever be afraid. I am enough. We are enough."
I closed my eyes, and in the coolness of morning, there among the bees, I felt for one clear instant  moment what she was talking about.
When I opened my eyes, August was nowhere around. I looked back toward the house and saw her crossing the yard, her white dress catching the light.

The passage is from The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd.

I was invited to the pre-launching event of  Lenovo S850 and I was assigned to create a buzz about this gadget for all fashion concious people out there (read it HERE) . This gadget tagline is #stylesnapshare which is basically what I do everytime I do a blogpost. The 5MP front camera is a favorit to take selfie with my friends while the 13MP main camera at the back is great for taking your #ootd with the scenery.
chiffon blazer - from HongKong, top & skirt - Stradivarius,
flats - Nine West, MAC bag - Rebecca Minkoff

First of all, apologies for low quality pictures! I left my iphone at home because my charger was broken but all is good now :)
I don't feel like doing a review.. Well maybe just a quick one. Considering that this place is new and I don't see plenty of reviews out there.

Hi, guys!
I posted my honey lemon shot on instagram two weeks ago and my friends as well as followers have been asking questions about this shot. I took it for 6 days and then stopped because I ran out of lemons. I started again two days ago and I thought I'll just do a post to explain all of your questions.

I have never been a fan of Louis Vuitton monogram and hence, I steer away from the brand. But upon having a chance to entered their amazing headquarter store at Champs du Elysses, I stumble upon the epi leather items and I irrecovably fell in love. It was magic.
Yes this BB Alma is way to small to be an everyday bag but I didn't buy this pretty baby to be an everyday bag afterall. I bought this to be something which I only pull out for special occasions because this bag is special to me. It's my very first high-end bag on my very first Europe trip. You can bet I will cherish this bag until I can pass it down to my daughter/nieces.

Anyway, let's have a good Monday!

When thinking about what I want to wear the next day, I always pick one or two key pieces that I want to highlight that day. Today is the day for Lenovo S850 in hot pink! I keep everything in neutrals to make sure the pink color pops in screen. Although all items that I wear is in black and white, I make sure it has different textures such as my lace top and a fun print like my polkadot shorts which I just have to match with my polkadot headband. After taking my outfit of the day, I continue by posting it on my blog and media social accounts. So my daily activities are basically #StyleSnapShare. Which also happens to be Lenovo S850 tagline, making this gadget a new favorite in the family.

On Tuesday, Lenovo host a pre-launching event at Yeyo Lobby & Eatery. It was an intimate event with around 50 people and I was so happy to be able to attend the event considering I am based in Bandung while the event was in Jakarta. Anyway, we had a hearty meal and then a Stylish/Stylist workshop from a Gogirl! Magazine fashion stylist (so much good knowledge!) after that there's a small mix and match challenge with fellow bloggers. I had fun despite feeling tired thanks to my aching feet. It was all worth it because of the amazing surprise at the end!

When I met you in the summer to my heartbeat sound
We fell in love as the leaves turned brown
We can be together baby
As long as skies are blue
~ Summer by Calvin Harris ~

Attended a cousin' wedding last weekend and I wore my favorite fuschia lace dress for the church ceremony and slip in to a more glamorous dress for the evening which I also love thanks to the gorgeous back detailing. Hopefully you all had a wonderful weekend!

Finally I try out having a high tea with my favorite people! I'm not going to do a review because it's not exactly a new place and there are so many great posts about this place already (here is one) and it has been open since 2011. So it's not exactly a newcomer but I was excited to try the high tea set (mine is 2 tier cost 150k rupiah). The cakes tastes okay but the pudding (the orange one) was way too bitter. The cupcakes on the glasses are good. Other than that, it's a satisfying menu for two or three people for exactly around three to five PM.

I have been having a white obsession these days. It seems everything white attracts my attention and I have been piling up a good amount of white tops. I love how it brightens up the face. Although it is a handful when you're eating or having your coffee break! It is so hard to keep them spotless and I have to conciously eating or drinking carefully.
Anyway, wishing all of you a great midweek!

Two weeks ago my friends and I decided to try Booster Society. The place is relatively new. Opened in early 2014 and we finally visited this little cafe. The building is quite small but it is located on the big road so you shouldn't have problem finding it. We didn't exaclty heard a lot of buzzing about this particular cafe but it didn't stop us to venture every new place in town :)

A few weeks ago I went to Singapore with a friend (okay okay my main reason was to check out Fendi 2Jours bag that I have been lusting about for over a year, and finally took the plunge to get one! Check out my review of the bag here) and we happily went all touristy! I love Singapore, I truly do. It's a fun getaway that doesn't cost much money. And it's different with Bali (which is great for a beach getaway) because to be honest, I never shopped anything in Bali except for the delicious Pia Legong and pie susu (milky pie). And since the Great Sale period was still ongoing, I did bring a few new items home. Do you think Singapore is a nice getaway country?

Miss Bee Providore is a newcomer in Bandung cafe-society. It opened late April 2014 and the place was an instant hits. I do believe it's mostly because of the great advertising by Bandung cafe hoppers! Their tempting brunch pictures popping out everywhere from twitter, instagram, and especially my path timeline. I visited twice already and I'm planning to come back to try for their breakfast menu!

Hello, I hope you enjoy the video!
It's my first ever reviewing a bag in form of a video. Do tell if you feel something is missing or if you have any other question relating to the bag, just comment below and I'll answer as soon as I can.

Have a great midweek, all.
