The Sweetest Escape is celebrating its 10th blogiversary (blog + anniversary) and it has been a wonderful 10 years together for me. This space has allowed me to explore another side of me that I would've never think of. It stretches me and forces me to think of and try something new with every post. I think, without this blog, my life would be dull.  

Tomorrow marks the eight year since I first clicked that Post button and boy oh boy it has been a journey. I started this blog with my sister eight years ago when we were still in uni and I'm happy to report that we are still the best-est friend. Though we parted ways in blogsphere, we are still very much in each other' life these days. 

But anyway, ever since I past my five years mark, I've always wanted to go the full ten years. It sounds weird but it's kinda my obsession. I seriously want to see and compare how my style and writing has evolved in the course of ten years. 

My blog is turning five years old!

I still can't believe I have been blogging for five full years. It's not exactly the most productive thing to do but I guess my love for writing has got me going and going and now this little internet space of mine is five years old. After 5 years, 595++ posts, and 252,000++ pageviews later, I still like blogging. I don't LOVE it anymore but I just can't seem go on very long without writing something here :-)

Thank you for everyone who visited my blog either you an old-time reader (gosh, those first few posts make me cringe! but I refuse to delete them as a lesson) or a first-timer here in the blog.
