15 x 15 Remix Challenge : Outfit 11 to 15

Hi, everyone.
Finally we are reaching the end of my 15 x 15 remix challenge. It has been fun and in a way, challenging, anyway, without further ado here are Outfit 11 to 15.

Outfit 11

Outfit 11 is one of my favorite since it is so colorful. From the hot pink dress, to the soft pastel lavender cardigan to the bright yellow bag, this outfit just makes me happy and lift my mood. Fuchsia is trending this spring and summer so it is a good idea to have at least one piece of this color in your wardrobe this season.

Outfit 12

Outfit 12 is a casual pink shirt outfit with white shorts for grocery shopping.
A cap and a mask is a must for no make up day.

Outfit 13

Next outfit is a classic white shirt dress and classic slip ons but pairing it with trendy pieces like the green cap and the green JW Pei bag to infuse some fun and color to the timeless shirt dress piece.  A simple yet chic look for a quick coffee run.

Outfit 14

For Outfit 14, I wanted an elevated casual outfit for Easter Sunday and here is what I come up with. Paired the white t-shirt with the blazer and silk floral skirt for a look that is casual yet still put together. The heels also help to make the outfit looks more polished.

Outfit 15

When you're running errands but still want to look nice for a lunch date, throw a blazer on it. I am guilty of relying too much on blazers to make an outfit less frumpy. In my defense, the pink color is perfect for this spring season. You can also bring a pair of wedges if the lunch place is somewhere a little fancy.

Here is a recap of the items that I choose and the outfits that I created with it.

Overall, it was definitely a styling exercise in my part, especially if you don't have a model's body. You need to create looks that is flattering and functional AND make sure you use each item while also making sure each item complements each other. At the end of the challenge, I am happy to have my whole wardrobe back and it feels like I have a whole closet of brand new clothes.

If you want to give it a try (great if you're traveling somewhere for a good period of time) my biggest tips is to make sure the colors of the pieces you choose complements each other. And also, make sure you are confident wearing every single item on its own. For example, since I'm not confident with my upper arm, I stay away from sleeveless anything.

Last tip is to ensure you have layering pieces that can be worn both casual and on dressier event.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this series better than the usual Spring Lookbook.

Have a good day, all.
