Little Collins Bandung Review

Hi, guys!
Weekend means eating out, am I rite? Well if you happen to be in Bandung, I would recommend Little Collins located at Jalan Sumatera (next to Sushi Tei). We went there last Saturday for a lunch date and the place was empty. To be fair we got there around 11AM and by the time we leave (around 12.30) the place started filling up.

Opened in early May this year, Little Collins introduced itself as a first of its kind which is a Kitchen & Tropical Bar. And indeed, I did feel transported into one of a hip cafe in Bali. Even the songs played were just like the ones you'd hear in Bali.

There's a bean bag area without any roof so sitting here midday might not be the best idea, or if it was a rainy day, that would be a bad idea too. But this area is indeed cute and there was one family sitting there with a toddler. I supposed the kid can run around freely.

I ordered Spaghetti Aglio Olio with chicken karaage. There was a bit of a mix up. I ask the spaghetti aglio olio with chicken but the waitress thought I want a spaghetti AND a chicken karaage. But it was understandable. We did paid for the chicken karage which we ended up took home in a box since we were full already.
My spaghetti was just so so. I've tasted much better spaghetti aglio olio (Eatalia is one of my fave to get an aglio olio). The chicken karaage was dry as well. It was definitely edible but nothing special really.

My husband ordered a burger which named I forget since I didn't take any pics of their menu (I'm a little rusty with this restaurant review thing) but he did approved. Food and drinks came out relatively fast since the place was pretty much empty. There were only one family in bean bag and a group of girls on the other end of our table. Service was so-so.

My Pina Colada (around 50k, I guess?) tastes ah-mazing. It's not too sweet or to sour and it was really really cold which was perfect for a hot day. There's alcoholic drinks as well, cocktails, beers, wine, etc.

Overall I do recommend this place since it is spacious so coming in with group shouldn't be a problem. Parking is spacious too. Service was just okay (barely). Food & drink was not too pricey, I'd say it's a normal standard pricing when it comes to cafes. We'd spend around Rp250k. I'd definitely won't bring my parents tho since it is a very hip cafe with loud music and wind everywhere.

And that's pretty much it about Little Collins. Hope you find this post useful.
Happy weekend, all!
