Resoinangun Garden Jogjakarta

I thought I'd kickstart my Jogjakarta posts with this picturesque postcard worthy flower field; Resoinangun Garden. This garden is not located in the city of Jogjakarta itself but a little bit out of town; Bantul. The garden is about 30 to 40 minutes from my hotel (Greenhost Boutique Hotel) via car which we rented. Car rental was 300 thousand rupiah/day. 

So when you enter the tourist area, you need to pay 10 thousand rupiah/car and then in the garden entrance, you pay another 5 thousand rupiah/person. There isn't that much else beside the garden. There is a toilet and a little shop where they sell water, soft drinks, and snacks, but that's pretty much it.

We went there on a Thursday around noon so it was really hot but the perk is, the place is rather empty. There were probably 3 other couples around us so taking pics was a breeze. Maybe too much breeze tho, it was so so windy and I literally cannot have a pic without my hair going all over the place.

There were a couple props that you can use. Like this swing and the bamboo chairs. They also provide hats at the entry which you can borrow. I'm not sure if that costs extra or not since I did brought my own hat. 

Oh, the red and yellow flowers called Celosia and those are GORGEOUS. I have never seen those flowers in real life. And in honour of that flowers, I refrain myself from editing the colours on these pics, just a few brightness and contrast adjustment. There were other flowers too like the sunflowers and those orange yellow flowers but the star is really those Celosias.
