Classic Red by Cambridge Satchel

So this happened. I bought a Cambridge Satchel in Classic Red (13 inch). It's the perfect shade of red and although small, I have no complains so far. The bag actually fits my wallet, my iphone, my blackberry, a portable charger, and either an umbrella or a 300ml water bottle. And after all that, I can still snuggle my ipad comfortably! I usually put my small umbrella inside and just carry around my water bottle. Which can be a hassle when you had a full day but still bearable.

I like the fact that it has THE most smooth surface and the leather smell is heavenly. The color is purrfection and it surprisingly matches lots of items in my closet. And how my things stay put exactly where I put them is a great plus. I can easily find things unlike when I use my longchamp where I just toss everything inside.

I don't really like the fact that the straps are so long.. Even after I use it in the shortest hole, it's still too long and works better as a crossbody bag. But the size is too big for a crossbody bag so I'm thinking to punch in another two holes then I might get it at the perfect length. You can also notice that since I use the shortest hole, therefore there's this excess strap that is way too long and can be finicky sometimes. I'm not too crazy about that long excess strap, it can be annoying. 

Alsoooo.. The buckle! My.. At first, I had a second thought about "how do I unbuckle this all the time?" But the more I use it, the leather finally gets softer and it does get easier to buckle and unbuckle (practice helps too). As all the review said, the leather around the buckle does wrinkle and scratches.. It's unavoidable so I wasn't exactly shocked, but definitely rather dissapointed that it wrinkles so fast (I used it for about a week now).

I've been lusting about a red bag for almost three months now and so happy that I decided to get this quality bag that I know I can pass down to my future daughters or nieces. I was thinking about mini pashli in red but upon much consideration, I decided it was too small for the price so I went for this beauty instead.

Another note, I have been obsessed with this temporary tattoos that it's bordering to addiction!
