I’m back with a new post from Ekara Coffee & Eatery or should I say Harry Potter Cafe Bandung? Because evidently by the display shelf, the owner seems to really love Harry Potter and decided to share that love with everybody else who also love Harry Potter hence their earned nickname, Cafe Harry Potter Bandung.

So design wise it is kinda like dark industrial? Which I don’t love but we sat at the booth and I am def loving the ambience. It does have that UK flair with the dark leather seat and the dark wood floor and just poor lighting overall giving a classic UK resto and pub vibe indeed.
The wall covered with paper reminded me to one of the cafe we visited in Edinburgh.
Food and drinks come out in normal amount of time. Place was not crowded for a weekend. Perhaps 50% capacity?
Ordered their best selling mocktail which is called Brighton & Hove (Rp 35k). It does have a zing into it thanks to the lemon juice. Personally I don’t love it but aj don’t hate it either.
Husband ordered Nasi Goreng Bumbu Padang (Rp 49k). He said this one is good but it was a bit salty.
I ordered Baked Chicken Mentai (Rp 45k).
Not bad. But I wouldn’t say it’s delicious either.
The baked rice had way too much pepper. And I love pepper.
Portion is small. I finished it in no time.
Overall we had a good time tho. Would probably recommend for just snacks and drinks!
I personally love the ambience. Even more so at night, I guess. We came for lunch.
