Beehive Cafe and Eatery Bandung Review

It has been a while since my last foodie post! 

Which seems wrong so here are two of them for your weekend ideas.

I love delicious food as much as the girl next door and I love those kind of meals even better when it comes with a good ambiance and lovely interior design.

I feel a lot of thought has been put when it comes to the theme and the decoration. As soon as I walked in, the first thought that came in was spacious. I think that is one of their biggest concern, too make sure that each customer will be able to eat and talk in peace without any fear of claustrophobia.

The smoking area (the first 3 pictures) is actually a lot more apealing than the non-smoking area. It has those repetitive hexagonal shape partition which resembles a beehive, obviously. And those comfortable seats outside! It's the perfect kind of chair for lazy-ing over some coffee and cakes.

Now on to the good part... The food!

The first picture is Dory au Gratin. I'm not sure how much the price but I'm pretty sure it's under 75k. The dory is actually tasty. I'm not a big fan of fish-based dish but this one is actually fit my taste buds perfectly. A lot people said that it took almost an hour to get this dory on their table but I don't think we waited that long.

The second picture is Chicken Baked Rice (50k). It actually tastes really good and the cheese is my favorite part. This one is also a signature dish and I can see why. It's very filling and highly recommended.

I went there again a few days later and my friend tried the Monster Burger (60k) which is also a signature dish and it tastes yummy! I on the other hand tried their siganture pasta Fettucini al Pesto (40k) which was rather plain. It can use some more flavor in it although it wasn't really bad. The chicken is a bit dry but I love it anyway.

On both occasions I ordered juices and both tastes thin with lack of sugar. Mojito drinks are actually pretty good.
