Valentine's Day is just around the corner, four more days to be exact. I hope I'm not too late, I focused a little too much on Chinese New Year posts so without further ado, here are two Valentine's Day Outfit Ideas.

Valentine's Day is less than a week away, have you planned your outfit? Here I present three pink outfit ideas just because on Wednesday's we wear pink! I do love pink color although I'm not their biggest fan. It does give a girly vibe effortlessly and sometimes a girl just want to be a girl. 

P.S. I'm sorry for the weird lighting on the 1st photo. The big red lamp of H&M sign was the culprit.

Apologies for missing my Monday post, to be honest, my Friday post last week was something I typed on last Monday. It has been one busy week indeed and I was recovering from my birthday weekend which also happened to be a long weekend here in my country. Worry not, I am back to my usual schedule now and I thought I'll show you what I wore on my birthday luncheon.

It was small, I only celebrated with my family but I couldn't help feeling oh so very blessed to be surrounded by people who have known me in my darkest time and love me anyway. I am still beaming from all the love. Back to the outfit, I wanted to wear something simple but fun in the same way so I ended up with this little pink dress with a shoulder cut detail. I added a statement necklace just for a fashion point and complete the look with a low heel ankle strap sandal. Apologies that the big flower bouquet kind of hiding my dress but I refuse to take photo without it. It's just too pretty not to be in every single frame.

So get up, get off internet, and hustle hustle hustle. Once you put out your best effort, up is the only way. Don't compare your today with other people's success story (I found them to be depressing), just compare yourself with your work yesterday (which I found motivational).

Anyway, what I wore on a Valentine's Day. Excuse my crazy hair (you can't really see it because I chose the photos carefully). I really need to get it straightened (my hair is naturally curly, here I sort of ironed them, but it was ruined because of the humidity)  but le boyfriend opposed because my hair would look super flat and lifeless, he says. True, but only like, 4 weeks, and then I'll have beautiful silky hair. Well, at least, for a good 3 to 4 months. LOL.

A little life update, I was sick for the first days of last week (Monday through Wednesday I spent most of my days in bed) with a bad case of ulcer problem and a throat sore; still not feeling that well but I powered throught V'Day. Also, I am currently having a toothache yet once again. It was only two weeks ago since I had my permanent filling for my last case of cavity. So yeah, a little bit frustrated as to the condition of my health but Oh Honey songs have been a true consolation throughout the week :)

Attended a cousin' wedding last weekend and I wore my favorite fuschia lace dress for the church ceremony and slip in to a more glamorous dress for the evening which I also love thanks to the gorgeous back detailing. Hopefully you all had a wonderful weekend!

I have never been a fan of fuschia but I do admit it looks absolutely darling in pictures. Not to mention how it flatters my pale yellow-ish complexion. I made this dress for a cousin's wedding and this fun number is starting to grow on me. Not to mention the lace details. Lord have mercy on me and anything lace (and flowery prints!).

I actually wear pink any day of the week. Especially when I feel like I need to create an innocent impression to my surroundings. It also creates an approachable atmosphere which is important when meeting new people! This pink number has accompanied me to birthday dinners, church events, and just casual hang outs. I always paired with lots of black to create a more mature outfit. Especially for evening wear.

I can honestly tell you how I used to avoid pink at all cost. It was my I-love-black days (still like black, it's a versatile color) but it was more than five years ago. Now, my closet seems to have a pink item here and there. And this oversized bow is just the latest addition to this uber girly color collection of mine. It's amazing what five years can take you. I cannot wait to see how my wardrobe will look like in the next five years! :)

I actually think peach is a really nice substitute for pink. It has a little bit more sassy-ness to it instead of the ordinary milky pink that usually around on this month of love. Men are probably thinking peach and pink is the same thing, anyway! Ah boys, they really don't get our most interesting mind who run through 32 different thoughts in one "hello"
