5 Easter Outfit Ideas

Hi, guys!
I apologize for lack of posts last week. I have been taking outfit photos but most of those are dedicated for this post :)
Easter weekend or as us Christian like to call, Passover Day is right around the corner. Here I created five looks that I thought will be perfect for a relaxing religious weekend. It is after all, the death and resurrection of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. Since I have church service is mind, most of them are modest with sleeves and a little bit of knee shown. But I have always been more comfortable with modest fashion. I have no sexy bone in me. Anyway, modest doesn't have to mean frumpy. It can very well be stylish!

-----A Lace Dress----

This one is a no brainer for me. I have professed my love for lace countless time here in my blog. I always found lace fabric just screams elegance and lady-like. My mom actually bought this dress for me because she thought I would like it and it was on sale. Yes, I am very fortunate to have a considerate and a very fashion conscious mother.
I styled this dress with my trusty leaf gold belt and a pastel blue sandals. You can always wear your nude heels if you wish for a more modest outfit. I was just going on a regular date night so this sandals are perfectly acceptable!

--- A Little White Dress ---

While Little Black Dress is an all occasion perfect outfit, a little white dress is just as handy. This dress has simple cutting with midi length making it very church appropriate. Since it is just a plain white dress I styled with this scarf to add some colours. Preventing this dress to be boring. Don't forget to put on your favourite bright lip colour as well to make sure you don't drown in the pale colour. Mine is in the shade Poppin' by ColourPop.

--- A Floral Dress ---

Since Easter is celebrated in Spring season, it is more than enough reason to celebrate any festivities with a floral top or a simple floral dress will do the trick. Mine is in white with tiny blue and yellow flower. It was a casual movie date so I paired it with my denim jacket. I always thought a floral dress and denim jacket is a match made in heaven. For church, you can just take off your jacket and switch my slip-ons with flat shoes. Still comfy yet more church-appropriate.

--- A Pastel Jacket ---

Finally a pair of pants! Not jeans, obviously. Whenever I'm wearing jeans to church, it's always either black or in a very dark wash and no rip can be found. Pants is a nice option for you, say, a mother of little toddlers who keep running around. Just maybe not white.
For this look I put on an all white outfit, something very simple, and just throw on my pink suede jacket on top of it. The jacket literally gives your look an instant shine. A matching bag doesn't hurt either.

--- A Midi Skirt ---

Modest fashionista out there must have had at least one midi skirt in their closet. My favourite item to bring on a vacation is honestly a plain coloured midi skirt. You can dress it up with a nice blouse and heels or you can dress it down with a t-shirt and sneakers. It looks cute either way. Also, it's so flattering and you don't have to worry about flashing anyone with its modest length.
This look is from a couple years ago, one is obviously from Christmas 2016 and the Supergirl look is from April 2016 as well. I hope you don't mind. I didn't have time to shoot an outfit with midi skirt.

Paired it with a pointy red flats (same colour with le skirt) so I don't look stumpy!
And that is all outfit ideas that I have. FYI, my church is not very strict. I guess it has to do with the fact that we're Christian and not Catholics. So jeans are still okay and any footwear is fine as long as it's not thongs. I hope you'll find some sort of inspiration in any of them. Thank you so much for reading and wishing everyone a great week ahead!
