Hi, guys!
I am leaving for a one week vacation tomorrow to Seoul, Korea and I want to share one last post before I leave. Visited White Crater or also known to us, Kawah Putih, last week. As you can see from the pics, the places is gorgeous and it's actually my 1st time here! It's embarrassing I know.
White Crater located not in the city of Bandung itself, but in Mt. Patuha, about two hours drive from the city. To get there, the best way is to rent a car and hire a local driver. You can just rent it for a day since it is mostly a day trip. There is also Rancaupas where you can play with deers which is in the same area. About 20mins drive from White Crater. Other than that, there really isn't that much else.
Hi, guys!
It took me three days to edit this video. Not to mention another two days to shoot it. But I'm actually quite happy with the video. The whole trouble (including stares from strangers) was totally worth it. Despite only editing two hours/day, I think this video is not too shabby! Pardon the self-confidence, I read too many chapters of self-help book today.
But anyway, I purchased this bag early December last year as a late birthday present / an early Christmas present from me to me. I wore it all through December (I switch to my other bag for only three days and then back to this) because I want to make sure I've worn it enough times to have the right information.
Sliding into your screen with a bouquet full of daisies to cheer up your Monday. I specifically requested Daisies to my boyfriend and even though it's a couple weeks late because daisies are not in season (can't believe boyfriend came through!), these flowers have some serious cheering-up power on me. Just looking at these pretty whites make me smile. Anyway, keeping this post short and sweet. Wishing everyone a good start of the week!
Just popping in to say hi and have a great Monday!
I had a tiring weekend out of town for an aunt' birthday and can't wait for it to be a weekend once again so I can just chill out and relax. I did spend a good time surrounded by distant relatives and seeing my cutie patootie niece who has grown up so much since the last I saw her is the best. Well, how can we not talk about family when family is all we got, right?
Was wearing this simple red dress to get in the mood of Chinese New Year :)
One week away and I'm so so excited to get the red angpao #wheresmymoney
Do you celebrate Chinese New Year?
Obviously, this is not a real leather, otherwise it won't be so affordable (less than US$43)! But this jacket definitely achieves the shiny look I have been craving for. Plus, a varsity jacket has been on my wishlist for quite some time. It has been difficult to find a varsity jacket that doesn't have a number or a cool university names that I never attended. Good news is, here is the answer!
Choies is so kind to send me this (p)leather varsity jacket which perfect for practically all of my outfit this fall comes. This model is out of stock but there are so many
great leather jacket choices in Choies!
Decided to paired this sporty item with a dressier piece. This old Zara lace dress has been a super reliable friend in times where I don't know what to wear. You can dress it up with heels and cool outer or dress it down with ballet flats and a cozy sweater over it.
Wishing everyone a good week ahead!

Uncanny valley is a term where someone feel an aversion towards something that looks so much like human, but not quite a human. Such as artificial hands. For the strangest reason, this term fascinates me and it made me thought about all sorts of things. I'm not the one who against helpful invention for things like artificial hands or any other limbs or even, an organ. However, I'm not a fan of robots. They give me the creeps. It's like if we try so hard to play God, the real God might be offended and condemned us to be the slave instead. I guess another reason for this uncanny valley is because we human feels threatened for our own mere existence. Our body parts can be so easily replaced, with such uncanny resemblance, what will stop them from replacing our mind? Our soul?
All in all, I believe that this uncanny valley is our instinct telling us to stop playing God, simply cause we are not God.
Just another silly musing. I think too much. It does me no good, I know. It's a bad habit that I'm trying to get out of.
As for the outfit, I wore this dress quite often but never got a chance to remix it into something new. Decided to paired the dainty dress with some edge by adding leather jacket and mirrored sunnies. I love the John Lennon vibe it has! And albeit the fact I am not suited to act all cool, I tried. And failed, naturally. However, I don't think the pictures look that bad!
What do you think?
Hopefully everyone survived the midweek! Weekend is only two days away.. Hang in there..
