I mostly spend my TV hours on Disney Channel so it's not out of the ordinary that you can find me humming to Phineas and Pherb or Shaun the Sheep opening songs. There's a hundred and four days of summer vacation the school comes along just to ends it.. So the annual problem of our generation is finding a good way to spend it.. Like maybe... *this is the part where I'm humming*

Why rambling about humming? Well.. Earlier this week I went to a recently opened cafe called Hummingbird! I know. I'm inexplicably witty with words!

The food was standard and not that good. However, the beverages are surprisingly tasty! And the cakes are all so tempting.. (hey, there, calorific chocolate fudge!)
I love the interior. Mostly dominated with nude wooden stuff.  I'm sure the designer was trying to give us a nest vibe or some sort of... While waiting for our mother to bring home some yummy slimy worms... Oops. I mean, while waiting for the chef to cook us our delicious meals!
It's quite a cozy place. Spent at least 4 good hours there!

Hopefully you're not having a Monday blue!

"To keep the heart unwrinkled, to be hopeful, kindly, cheerful, reverent - that is to triumph over old age."
-- Thomas Bailey Aldrich

Despite the fact that I took aerobic classes twice a week, English course every Tuesday and Thursday, helping out my dad with his waterpark, and attend a fellowship every Thursday (just started though!) I'm so deeply grateful that I still have time to give back to the community.

Earlier today me and a bunch of friends went to a nursing house. There were a short sermon, some singing together, and giving parcels. Old people are fascinating. I live with my grandmother. She's 87 years old and still rocking! She's healthy and every now and then she's still making me my favorite foods.

Me and three other friends spent a good one and a half hour wrapping 100 parcels consist of apples, crackers, and shredded meat the day before. I did feel like a complete grandmother after standing and bending for so long without a break.

I hope we can appreciate and respect our elders in every way we can.

Devastating news from Japan. The country was hit by an 8.9 R earthquake approximately 14.45 Japan time. Then tsunami came 2 hours after. Please keep your prayers for those in Japan.
Indonesia got a tsunami warning but thankfully, God is still merciful and we are left unharmed.

I wore a flowery scent perfume when I took this picture and I was surrounded by bees! (fine it was only too. but still) Oh my.. That was definitely one of the most terrifying experience I ever had. I was super scared and running around like crazy. The bees just wouldn't stop! My friend told me to just stand still (easy for him to say, HE wasn't attacked by a swarm of bees!). So I did. I stood perfectly still. Thank God they finally realize that I wasn't a flower (sometimes I wish I were one though!) and leave me alone.

There are more pictures but I haven't met with my friend again. And this is the only self picture I took with my camera. Oh! My autofocus is back! So happy!
It's amazing how busy I get when I'm no longer studying and the fact that I'm unemployment makes it even more perplexing. I've been helping out my dad on his recently opened waterpark . Do help and click that Like button! :)

I make proposals, taking pictures, putting up that facebook page, locker-shopping, deciding which drinks will go to foodcourt area, making letters. And all sorts of stuff. I'm a little confused of what exactly my role is on that waterpark. But I tried to make myself believe that I'm helping my dad instead of making him more dizzy.  Fine, I wasn't really busy with helping my dad, I also been trying to get my shop up and running again. I'm selling my preloved clothes, bags, and accessories. Do visit!

I'm not selling international though. Since the price is seriously low, I'm pretty sure that the shipping fee would costs a lot more than the item's price. However, if you live anywhere in Indonesia, check out March Collection album! I'll be waiting for your order!

I also start taking aerobic classes again. With all-you-can-eat all day long everyday, I really need those exercises. And now I have sores all over my shoulders and practically all of my limbs. Heaven. I also took placement test for an English course. Classes starts in two weeks so I supposed I will be busier then. Yes!
I hate sitting doing nothing at home. I tend to eat more. LOL.

Today my sister and I went to watch The Eagle. The story was really by the book yet I'm truly pleased! I'm easily impressed, I know.  As long as it has a happy ending, I'm a satisfied customer. Yeah to happy endings!

My sister is finally back in town. I miss her lots! After two weeks of not seeing each other is really nice to have someone who laughed at you when you knocked down a glass instead of scolding you.

Yesterday we went to Nanny's Pavillon Library (Remember the bathroom themed Nanny's I posted a few months ago?) for a lunch date. The place is really cute and the food is so good. Of course I just had to deleted the food pictures out of my clumsiness.Sometimes I deleted pictures so fast (my poor poor packed up memory!) I often delete wrong pictures.

I love to read. I read all sorts of books. Fiction. Non-fiction. Romance. Adventures. Biographies. Fairy-tales. Chicken-Soup. Self-improvement books. You can tell that my favorite book is children's story. But you know, with poignant meaning behind it. Such as Alice In Wonderland. I also love The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry .Or just plain fabulous book such as the one I'm reading right now. The One Hundred by Nina Garcia.

“The more you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.”
- Dr. Seuss, "I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!"
There are two kind of tears. Tears of joy. And tears of pain. Either way, crying is an effective way to express yourself and a way to feel better! I cry rather often because of moving scenes in movies! (embarrassed but slightly proud, I'm sensitive, y'all!)

Anyway, Wonder Girls has a song about this. And it's soooo good. I can't stop dancing to it.

I was featured in GoGirl January 2011 issue. (Sorry, it's so last month, but I just remember about it now) I submitted an article like, a year ago, and I totally forgot about it.  My friend tweeted about it and I was planning to NOT buy January edition of GoGirl. But as soon as I knew, I went to the nearest bookstore and bought one. Such a dork, I know.

Last friday, I went to a photography workshop at my friend's (and by friend, I mean, ex-boyfriend; we stay friends)  university. Funny thing was, my friend's ex-girlfriend was one of the committee. It was just funny I couldn't help to smile when I realized she was the committe (when I got to the workshop!). Ah. Life.

Anyway, the workshop was . . .  informational. Not quite educational. There were actually about 30 people there so it was difficult to ask questions and I was intimidated by all the professional photographers! (they all look like they know what they were doing, unlike silly akward me!)

I got a certificate and made some new friends. So I guess it wasn't so bad (since I have nothing to do at home). These are two photos that I think the best (I took about 100 pictures. So I have a 2% successful rate. Sad. Truly sad)

My autofocus suddenly won't work and I discovered a whole new word of manual focus. The truth is, I have never use manual focus with my camera before and I had to ask a junior to teach me how to use it. I'm so ashamed. Oh, I'm not patient enough to stick with manual focus. But my autofocus still not working. What to do?

My puppy celebrated his 1st birthday last Friday. Is he still a puppy if he's 1 year old? It's like a teenager in dog year, right?

Hey, guys. I feel a new post is incrementally necessary. It has been forever since I posted.
Quick catch up : 1) I finished my thesis and passed my thesis defense. I'll be graduating soon. 2) Happy New Year and Chinese Year. Year of the rabbit! 3) New layout and new haircut!

Since Valentine Day is coming up I thought I would do a couple pink outfit shots with different themes.
Here it is!

1. A Night Out in Town
It looks orange somehow. But it's actually hot pink! I always thought of a flowy top and your trusty black skinny jeans for a night out somehow. Anyway, it's perfect for a night out with your boyfriend or girlfriends. Just wandering around from mall to mall.

2. A Family Outing
This is the perfect pink. I never thought there will be a perfect pink color. But there it is, ready to just be worn by me every week. In my mind, when going out with your family, I always want to look relaxed but also put together. The top kinda look like a t-shirt but the sleeves are chiffon and the detailed around the shoulder is perfection.I got the super big flower ring from a friend. It matches with my heels! Accessories is a great way to make a nice flow on your look.

3. Cute First Date
Whenever I go on a first date, I always want to wear a skirt. Mostly because I rarely wear a skirt so I want to know that he's worth the trouble. Also, I rarely use heels on a first date. You'll be nervous enough and you don't need to stressed about the possibility of falling! (I stumble all the time. So maybe you'll feel more confident in heels, just go for it!). I got this cutest hair clip from my dear friend. It's so cute I can't stop wearing it. Yes, I do wear them everyday. It's perfect to add just enough of that cuteness!

4. Quality Time With Your Sister
My sister and I are partner in crime when it comes to shopping. Okay, fine. I'm the one who do the shopping, but she totally helps! So I thought it would be fun to spend a V-day with your sister and just shopping and gossiping and drink coffee and snacking after all the walking. It's a little Blair-esque with the vintage top and the bow headband and the mary-jane shoes. Well, I do love Miss B!

5. Amusement Park Date
Okay. I supposed we should switch the wedges with a converse. But I don't own any. How sad, I know. I have one. But it's purple and it looks rather strange. I looooove amusement park. Although I can't go on many rides (out of fear) I just love going there and go on carousel or ferris wheel or just eating ice cream in the middle of the heat. A crossover bag and shorts are essential when going to amusement park. You wouldn't want to be so busy while holding your ice tea and your hotdog while walking!

Do tell me how your V-day went.
Have a romantic one!

This picture is meant to be blurry, my darling bloggers (a complete lie. I had no idea it was blurry from camera little screen!) to add a little sense of mystery and coolness. Oh my. I can't even lie correctly anymore! That is not a good sign.

Somehow I managed to steer away from self-absorbing and vain activity of taking pictures of myself with my camera. And I found myself not missing it. How sad! I sincerely apologize for all unreplied comments. I'll get back to you soon! And sorry for the boring indoor pictures. This thesis thingy is crazy. Good news is, I'll be free as soon as 15 December (due date to collect soft copy of myt hesis) whether it will be a good news ("I finished it!") or a bad news ("I didn't finish and forced to extend." Hopefully not!) I will be back to my regular blogging schedule.

For now, I'm out of goodbyes!

I have been obsessed with baby collar lately and finding myself buying tops with that type. I never really like spotty stuff. I don't think I owned anything polka dots except for this top (since it has a baby collar!).

Another dancing video! I know. I have been quite addicted to this useless activity. Somehow I found myself able to dance to 7 songs right now! Here is one of them. And it's an old song. But it is super catchy and super . . . meaningless. But fun anyway! The song is Bo Peep by T-ara.
