My dog died yesterday morning. He lived up to his name, Double Happiness George (as written in his certificate). He doubled, no, even tripled my happiness. I was shocked since he looked better when I visited him at the vet the day before he died. I cried myself to sleep yesterday. I got teary eyes when someone asked about what happened to him. I couldn't smile. I felt like crap. I felt like the weather that day, dark and gloomy. I guess I would be lying to myself if I didn't know that death was a possibility. I have been forcing smiles and laughs all the time he was sick. He threw up everything that went in his tiny body for four days. He was infused for two days but even that didn't help. What makes me really sad was the fact I wasn't there when he died. I really want to think I had given him his best shot to heal, you know. I am not convinced until now. There will always be a part of me that ask "what if". Even the doctor didn't know what happened..
All I know is now I'm letting go. You did good, boy. You did good. Sleep tight, now.

Life goes on. Births and deaths are part of life. Although there is no heaven/hell for dogs, the thought that he feels no pain anymore soothe me a little bit. My heart still aches every time I remember him. The aches will linger on, I'm sure. But I also believe it will hurt less and less as time goes on. Besides, what was the saying? Time heals all wounds. So today I'm going to smile and laugh and letting go.

I am 4 looks short on my 30 from 30 Challenge and I sort of just lazying around. But I am planning to take outfit pictures this afternoon so I can finish it on time. No rush tho.. Life has been slowing down too. And I couldn't be anymore peaceful. I got 8 hours of sleep for 5 straight days. That's gotta be a record. So.. It's a perfectly turtle-pace for now. I guess I'm too in sync with my dog. We both sick. Mine is minor (cough and flu) and his is a little bit major.. I feel really bad for him. He couldn't stop shivering and he just won't eat! The vet came yesterday and gave my dog a shot and he ate a little after that but today he won't eat again. I'm officially worried. Do pray for us.. Your positive vibes will be appreciated.

No I didn't turn into a red-haired girl. I wish I had such courage! I did dyed my hair into this sort of plum-ish, dark purple, color a year ago and I'm considering to dyed it back. Except it seems like my hair can't retain color for too long. My purple hair turned into dark brown faster than I can say "hair-ology".

Totally going to rock this hairstyle for overwhelming heat in summer days.
Black, white, and red are the theme for this post. I guess you all knew it by now. The red headband is actually for my youth (church) costume this Saturday. Planning to give all the ushers this hairstyle. The head department ask us (costume department) to make the ushers look catchy and cute. This hairstyle managed it quite well, I guess.

Animal prints but not the leopard ones, more like the prints you'll find in children's clothes, are my second favorite prints after floral. It's fun and cute but not too girly like floral prints. I'd like to pretend that I look younger when I'm wearing such dresses. Haha. I have an old face. People always mistakes me as the big sister. Not too happy about that. But not exactly sad too. I do feel like that means I am a mature independent looking gal. I'm weird, I know.
