Abura Soba Yamatoten just opened a few weeks back here in Bandung but apparently the place has opened for a while in Jakarta. If you're not familiar with soba, it's different from ramen and udon; a bit more chewy and usually served cold but here the soba is served warm. You also need to add vinegar and chili oil before you eat it.
I went there on a Saturday night and the place was packed. We actually had to wait for a little bit to get our table. This place is by no mean small, as you can see, the space is decent but because there are so many tables, it's a bit tricky to walk around. I guess they are trying to mimic ramen shops in Japan which usually have teenie tiny small area. I like the ambience, it feels very busy but not hectic. Food came out relatively fast considering it was a full house. Service was great, no mixed order whatsoever. Price-wise is a bit pricier than your usual ramen but nothing outrageous. There is also rice menu if you don't feel like eating soba. I was told their side dish chicken karaage and potato salad also worth trying.
Phew! I'm finally posting about Old Ben's Bandung! Sponsored posts are lining up so I thought I just sneak this in :)
Visited this place two weeks ago with my lava and had a pleasant time. Industrial theme no longer bother me perhaps because it has become too much, my annoyed nerves shut down. Haha. Either way, I do think industrial theme and coffee shops are a good match tho. I mean, can't you see how pretty the coffee looks like with the wooden table background?
Anyway, place is not that big and it is indeed located in a renovated garage. Their coffee is fine but I prefer Two Hands Full's one. Perhaps because its sweeter there. Lord knows I do not EVER drink bitter cofffee. I do however will come back again just for their Acai Berry Bowl. So good! They also serves savory/breakfast menus.
Visited another ice cream corner which is Arromanis in Bandung a few weekends ago. Despite the fact that I can't eat too much dairy product if I want to keep the rashes away, I couldn't help but to indulge every weekend. Coffee and ice cream are on my top list after a weekdays of healthy dairy-free diet. Arromanis has been around for a while but I only noticed this place a few months ago thanks to instagram. Their adorable sweets is very instagram worthy! This one is red velvet with marshmallow with Oreo festive cone. You can choose the festive cone too. They have milo, fruit loops, biscuits, etc. festive cones.
My blog is turning five years old!
I still can't believe I have been blogging for five full years. It's not exactly the most productive thing to do but I guess my love for writing has got me going and going and now this little internet space of mine is five years old. After 5 years, 595++ posts, and 252,000++ pageviews later, I still like blogging. I don't LOVE it anymore but I just can't seem go on very long without writing something here :-)
Thank you for everyone who visited my blog either you an old-time reader (gosh, those first few posts make me cringe! but I refuse to delete them as a lesson) or a first-timer here in the blog. As my gratitude, I'm giving away an $80 shopping voucher from Sachlirene. I absolutely love their shoes. My Olivia Pumps have been with me pretty much on every special ocassion. Olivia is comfy and light and those red details just set it apart from your usual black heels.

Hi, guys!
I posted my honey lemon shot on instagram two weeks ago and my friends as well as followers have been asking questions about this shot. I took it for 6 days and then stopped because I ran out of lemons. I started again two days ago and I thought I'll just do a post to explain all of your questions.
